That’s not how it works. I can only sort by one column and it is rating. Number of ratings do not count here. Same happens in Downloads, etc.

Sorry, it works!  I have expected to see the block at the right side where categories are. However this one is shown above the WHAT'S NEW block. It took a while to see where the block is. It's very hot in Europe now... very very hot.. 

In the app settings -> Link View you can enable and reorder blocks at your wish.

Pin and feature are a IPS4 feature and appears in all apps (Forums, Gallery, Blog, Records from Pages, etc.).
Pin will make the record appears first in the category listing. It’s the same of pinned topics in a forum. 
Feature will make the record a special record and can be displayed anywhere, like in LD index or in the Link Feed widget. If you wan to see an example, Marketplace here shows some featured files in the index. 
Affiliate comes from old versions of this app and it is exactly for what it does: you can make partners/affiliates. That’s all. I just wanted to keep it, in case someone uses it. There’s a block in the index for the affiliates.

I would like to "clean" the list of my purchases here. The most apps there are outdated, belong to 3.x, are not active, not available, cannot be renewed and so on. I would like to be able to delete or at least hide them from my list. This way I can better overview the applications I really use and need to upgrade. And I would appreciate if I could sort the purchases by renew date or status.

A new version was released which should be compatible with IPS 4.3.x

Sorry, I could not test yet due to my newborn ?

1. It definitely can. I have customers that are sending out to nearly 1 million members.
2. It's dependent on which email provider you're using (standard/SparkPost/SendGrid). Email will be sent at the same rate as IPS bulk mails, it uses the same code.
3. It will never send to all members at once. Again, it uses the IPS bulk mail code, so emails will be sent from the newsletter the same way that IPS sends them.
4. Not at this time.
5. Yes, they should be able to unsubscribe without logging in.
Just letting you know that I did see this post and your PM. I've been working on and off the last couple of weeks (and the next 2 weeks) due to the Jewish holidays, so I haven't had time to get to it. I WILL get to it, though.

Well, you can turn your forum off and display a message for maintenance.
You really should consider setting up a development site, getting a copy of your current forum up and running in that development environment, then upgrading the development version to see what breaks in going from 3.4.9 to 4.2.x - the post conversion as well as the database conversion alone can take a long time depending on how big your forum is.
Once you've got everything ironed out in the development environment, you now have an idea what to watch out for when converting your live site.
I'd also recommend communicating this change well in advance to your community so they are prepared for any downtime.

If anything Collabs is much more powerful than Clubs ...
In clubs you can only create one forum node at a time. (No subforums)
In clubs the permission set is completely neutered because it's preset to one of four styles of clubs.  This is something that I think is a fatal weakness to clubs.  
In clubs you can't have pages or databases.
In clubs you can't have categories of clubs. 
In clubs you can't have custom member titles.  
On and on.  
While I'm generally supportive of IPS and their vision for clubs as first party product, it's a very shallow and immature implementation.  That's not to say it's bad, and if you listen to other IPS clients, you can get fooled into thinking Clubs is the most amazing and awesome thing ever.  But it's really not.  It's a rather weak product compared to the full strength of Collabs which allows you to use the full app in a collaboration.
