Can we get the Page Builder: Text Widget with the rich text editor or can we get the WYSIWYG Widget with the advanced settings of the Page Builder: Text?

 
It feels awfully odd to get a text box where you can't edit anything about the text and call it a Page Builder: Text.  What is the use case for that?

I love the new text box as it allows you to get creative.  Yes, you need to have a grasp of HTML and CSS but it's really not that difficult and there are loads of generators online to help you get the look you want.  I created a simple box with a welcome message inside - this:

The HTML part is:
<div class="box">Welcome to Movie Buffs</div> And the CSS part is:

I also removed all of the padding using the drop down controls.  It's a really nice way to get creative.

Thanks @jackflash I was having the same problem as yours!

I had to toggle the AJAX setting under the theme and it was all good.
 

Open conf_global.php in your community root directory and change the member_group variable to point to the appropriate group ID.

You could use the group promotion system for this. Create a new group which is allowed to post in the forum and create a new group promotion rule to move members to this group after being registered for x days.

Suppose you have 1 page of 24 members to validate and you wish to validate only 22 of them - how do you do that on one page like 3.4 allows?
In 3.4, the validating page has a checkbox next to each member.  So I can check the ones that I wish to mass validate while not allowing others.  Is this possible in 4.1 ? ? ?

IPS did have a version but not sure if it's around but closes one seen is

​I agree with letting the admin/site owner determine who can perform this function.  It's more than trusting mods, if someone gets their password, then they can cause havoc.  I do appreciate IPS leaving this off by default because this is and will be an admin function for me.

​This has always been a worry of mine - whether you get a rouge moderator or someone gets a moderator's password.
I just have those functions turned off for moderators to begin with - only the admin can perform those tasks.
