The Old Man Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Just downloaded this to update my existing Membermap. For info inside the download is a file Install Guide.txt but the link is broken inside ... "Server made a boo boo!".
The Old Man Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I just upgraded to latest version from the version that used GoogleMaps (I had deactivated it for a while).Upgrade went well but new Bing Map had no map markers.Fixed it by going to AdminCP> Tools and Settings > Cache Management > Member Map tab > then recaching both the entries there.Map marker icons instantly came back on when I refreshed the Member Map in my browser.Hope others find this useful.
Keithy Joe Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Just installed this and entered the API key, ticked all the permissions and I get a blank white screen with no map? Is anyone able to help me? Website is below: http://www.weatherscientific.co.uk/weather.forum/index.php?/membermap/
Square Wheels Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Will you be updating this for 4.0?Thanks Michael R, svit and wohali 3
CaptJeff Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Hi Stuart! Thanks for your help today! I had to chuckle a little when you said do not delete the config.php file or what ever it was. You could pay me a million pounds and I would never be able to tell you where that was or what it was!.. No worries me chucking that file. (My best UK verbiage)On the site TheSkiSkool.com my member map is showing a location pin but no icon. Just a mark where the pin is but no member icon or home icon or anything. Any Ideas what is causing that. All the best and Thanks again Jeff
Stevie_Wallis Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Hi Stuart,Very nice the new version but i would like to know how i can use my own images for the markers at the map instead of the font awesome ones.Thx in advance Dirk
VR6Pete Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Can anyone advise if there has been any indication when this will be updated for 4.0? svit 1
svit Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Any update on this please from the author? There are many admins who have upgraded their sites to 4.0 and had to deactivate this application due to non-suported version. Michael R 1
stoo2000 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 It will be updated at some point.I was thinking about the possibility of setting up a GitHub project so others can contribute code, I haven't made a decision on that though. wohali and Michael R 2
VR6Pete Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Any update / time frames? This is a big plugin for me on my website and cannot upgrade to IPB 4 until this has been updated Michael R, Marius and svit 3
Noni Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Stuart... as i once said... make this member map a paid add-on so you can be motivated. A lot of members are waiting for it to be compatible with ipb 4.x, including me... some just don't post on the forum svit and jackflash 2
svit Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 The old free application had more than 7000 downloads so far, even if half of them were future paying customers, would it not be worth offering it as paid application? I would be more than happy to pay for it. Michael R and jackflash 2
jackflash Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I would absolutely pay for it as well. I can't see how developers are expected to create and maintain something for free to begin with. Count me in $$ Michael R 1
.Ian Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Hi, Should the new version auto zoom - or does it require a certain number of markers before it does auto zoom?
jackflash Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 We haven't heard back from the author since July. Is someone taking this app over?
