Hey guys, could anyone point out how could I remove this container from the Forums section? I dont really see the point of it as we already have a Create on the Header so in my case this is just distraction, especially because I am using Forums as my Landing Page. Thanks for the help! Cheers, PM

Guys, have any of you managed to make dynamic forums posts based on a condition such as the Cloudflare Geo IP location? PHP can get the visitors country based on the Cloudflare header $_SERVER["HTTP_CF_IPCOUNTRY"]. if($_SERVER["HTTP_CF_IPCOUNTRY"]=='GB') { show content for GB } else { show content for elsewhere } I suppose a work around is iframe based content.

I have a page on a couple of my sites which presents results of events taking place over the next year, taking that information from an api. I received a report about a month ago that one of the sites (now running 4.6.8., then running 4.5.x) is not displaying any results. I've checked on the other site (running 4.4.6), and that, too, is no longer returning any results. My trouble-shooting has led to these conclusions: It's not related to a change within IC because the 4.4.6 site hasn't been updated in a couple of years and the page was displaying correctly before. Hi if anyone can help please. Ive purchased the forums that are hosted by Invision but I am unable to add this to my subdomain. Invision tell me that only web host can help and my web host tells me he really doesn't understand the instructions as what to do. Invision sent me email with these instructions on: My site is in CPANEL ... do i click into dynamic dns and if so what do i add?

I know it's an old topic, but es prevention strategies, tools and bots evolve, I thought it's worth a new topic. Since a few days I get an unusual high number of visitors to my site. Instead of 10 users on average in a given time, there are now 100. Bots! They visit different pages but so far no registrations or content spamming was observed. I tested whether they would respect robots.txt instructions. They don't. So I modified my htaccess file to prevent all countries, except the ones my normal users are from, to be blocked. Hi All - I am trying to modify the text on the progress bar that shows the user how much of their profile they have completed. As you can see in the image below. the white font against the light gray box make its impossible to read the message. I would like to keep the font white in this case, but change that light gray box (which represents the % incomplete) to be darker so that it picks up the white text. Having a hard time figuring out which of the formatting options relate to this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! Please tell me how to display (as in the screenshot below) the reputation, number of posts, days of leadership and the date of registration. I reviewed all the add-ons and information on the forum, but I still could not find the answer I needed. The plugins that are available are not suitable for these conclusions. I don't know if it is the proper way what I did but I managed to disable the "Remove your reaction" but not to hide the reaction icons after a given reaction. In core > front > global > reputation I deleted the content of the inside red frame The same also in core > front > global > reputationMini Is it right what I did and if so, what else do I have to do to hide the reaction icons after a given reaction?

Hi, Using a targetted CSS selector, I'm trying to limit some CSS so that it applies only to the default app's main home page, the first thing someone would see when visiting example.com or example.com/community, but taking into account for one person it could be they've set forums as their default app, for another it could be pages, core, blogs, calendar etc. Is that possible? Hi Everyone, Has anyone experienced the issue shown in the video since updated to version 4.6.8 of the IP Board forum plugin? I have the self-hosted version. I reached out to Invision support and they said this issue is not caused by the plugin. No one seems to know what the hell this firewall thing is, please help!

Hi There I am looking for assistance for my Website. The site has content on the home page that is 18+ and although the membership registration gets confirmation of age, there is no confirmation setting I can find for guests to confirm they are over 18. I could just not allow guests to visit the site but before I do that, I was wondering if there is a way to have guests landing on the site to confirm their age? Any help is appreciated..

I've posted in 2 other forums, tried to reach out to the dev team but no response, so apologies for asking again. CKEditor changed its default editor to Moona-Lisa for the current release series, which IPS4.6 updated to for the security fixes. This means we cant use Moono Dark anymore, since its no longer updated. How can I add support for the uiColor 'chameleon' config setting, which makes using changing UI colour on darker themes much simpler? The docs say to add it to your config.js, but the IPS theme uses a different variation from the default or perhaps you disabled the chameleon mode? config.uiColor = "#444444" Many thanks!

Hello Community, thats my first Post and hope iam in the right Corner. I have since an Upgrade to Version 4.6 an Issue with my own Whos Online Widget. Somehow everyone displays normal but yourself 2 Times after a refresh on the Site. That Issue wasnt before and i dont know where should i find this Problem since i rechecked the Code 10 Times I would be really thankfull if someone could help me with it

Hi, any chance that someone will tell me what I need to change in my theme that I will end up with, instead of putting guest name, only with ..."by guest" Check pic below for visualisation LOL. I realised as well ig guest will chose they name for topic his/her is unable later one choose this same name prior the registration as message " this name is already chosen" appears.
