I have a field in pages field_18, which is a checkbox set. When I list values in my template, they usually are printed like this: Label: check1, check2, check3 I change to custom format in display options because I "need" it in a table, and I want each checkbox checked to be a link where it's filtering for that specific checkbox. So I've tried to do the stuff below. Not very sure of what I'm doing, but it is sort of working. I do, however, have a hardcoded url there. I just use the url I get when doing such a record filter manually. I wonder how to do this more dynamically, for example if I change the name of the page I do not have to change all of these fi…

Hi, Since March 1st, 2022, we are seeing lots of errors in the System Logs regarding IndexNow. In my community the txt files download doesn't works. I will do a try here attaching a common txt file. All group users are able to download attached file. I don't have file extension restrictions. Any idea? trytodownload.txt update: here I am able to download the txt. What I am missing?

Hi there, does anyone know how I can include an IP Address within sent messages via the contact form? I'm not talking about the form itself, but rather the email that is sent to the administrator when someone uses the contact form, I'd like the IP address to appear with that message. I initially looked at editing the email template to achieve this task but was unable to get it working. Can anyone help point me into the right direction? Not really interested in plugins or applications if I can help it. Thanks in advance.

We are a multilingual community and do not really understand the "best practice" for multilingual content. Activate and provide language packages from the system: done, easy Create forum categories for different languages: done, easy Create a multilingual home page? How? Where can I specify which language has a custom page and even specify that it is the index page for language X? How to adjust the sitemap.xml so that Google etc. indexes the community multilingual?

After we has several different problems we finally managed to resort the utf8mb4 upgrade and the upgrade to the last board version. Our market segment will be businesses (B2B). We do not want to mess with an occasional European consumer's EU VAT procedures. To our knowledge, there is no way to configure IPB to just accept registrations by B2B customers, i.e. customers having a valid VAT number. The B2C option is even the default option, causing us a potential administrative VAT mess. We have a few ideas of screening options, like adding a custom field asking if the registrant has chosen "Business" and added its VAT number. Hi community! Is there a way to add a external purchase in the store, having a button instead of the "add to cart" button? As of now I have to set the product to out of stock and leave a link in the description. But having a "Out of stock" which will be the first thing a customer will se does not look good. Or maybe another workaround like a plugin or something? I've also noticed you can't add messages to store products which feels a little weird.

Hi, I have some advertising code which needs to go in the footer section of my theme. Is there some conditional code which I can surround it with so it only shows to guests. One of the advantages I offer my registered users is less adverts so I only want this advert to show to guests. Last few days we are having lot of issues in running the forum. Everytime forum is getting down and we can see the VPS CPU getting increased a lot. I believe someone is attacking the forum we also have cloudfare but nothing happening our forum getting down completely. Its not SSL issue we checked that. How to protect it completely. And attaching the error messages.

I just noticed that on the Submissions under Downloads categories that there isn't a gear option that allows you to copy the setting. Is there an easy way to copy File Submission Terms from one category across all categories? I really don't want to go through 100+ categories and add it to them all manually.

Created my account, (as far as l can tell since it says the secret thing is active, but not much else) and inputed it into my envision site, but it keeps saying that it cannot verify it. The Client ID and Secret should be fine, since they are a cut and paste, but the Name? Which name, the name of the account or the sandbox account, (which is a worry sine it says example in the url)? But either way l have tried both, and the same error occurs. Currently tried it in another bwoser but same error, impossible to tell if it is active, and it never works on my forum. I would really appreciate some help from others who figured this out, thanks.

There is another site that I would like to pull some tournament information/listings from their site into my site. They have an API (GET) setup instead of an RSS feed. https://www.ifpapinball.com/api/documentation/tournament/ I love to import a list of tournaments from their system into my IPS/Pages. Is there an easy addon or anything that would allow this?

I don't know when this problem began to manifest on my community, but the scheduled task "dailyStreamSubscriptions" is failing on the regular now. I would like some help solving this, please. When it's enabled and running, I can see multiple task jobs spawning in my WHM processes list and they just begin to accumulate and bog down the server.

Hi, Can you IPS tell me where are the ACP templates? There is some mistakes I would like correct myself and that actually annoy my team. I tried to find them but can't. However, I noticed that when I use search in templates of some class used within ACP it gives results of template categories but does not display templates itself. Do you hide them from view? How can I access them?

I want to creat a custom welcome block or be able for the site to use a persons user name in various places around the site. Is there a way to pull the username into custom block? Something like %username% that would enter the usersname. I've tried various combinations of %user%, %user_name%, %member%, etc. Are there commads like this available to use?

Platform: 4.6.10 Self hosted -TESTINSTALL instance When a theme is exported, we get the XML file that purports to represent the theme. Before the export, the theme is customized and icons are uploaded to dress up features of the theme (banners, icons for forums, etc..) Those media files are uploaded. However, what is the technique to extract (export) the theme such that we know which files to collect up so we can re-deploy the same theme (with the media files that belong with the theme) after a clean upgrade.
