Hey everyone, I've been running into a bit of a snag lately with the notification messages. Whenever I click on a notification to view the new messages, it seems like the AJAX call is working fine, but I'm not getting any response back. It's almost like the calls are happening twice, making things even wonkier. and as you can see no response on the body after the call : This only started happening recently, right after we switched over to a new dedicated server. I've tried poking around on my end to fix it, but no luck so far. Any ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix it? Your insights would be super appreciated! …

Starting from some weeks ago, some users (but not all) mainly from Chrome (but not only), have been receiving the error: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Apache Server at default-xxx_www_qqq_yy Port 443 I have updated the values as follows, but without any result. Where do you recommend checking? Good morning, We've just moved our cloud installation to a self-hosted instance. At first everything was functioning fine but when switching our files from invisions s3 to our own s3 instance at first the whole template started disappearing and now the site is completely unaccessible. (Cannot access ACP to clear cache, is there a manual way to do it?) There is nothing in uploads/logs.

Hello, I made sure to do the following. I am working on a page that uses HTML in the HTML the HTTP images lead to content links. I tested the HTML and it worked locally. However once its added to the PAGE it only displays for me (probably due to cache) everyone else sees broken images (The links still work). I have other images on invision that are http and load once they are linked again through invision. Is there any option that doesn't involve me downloading 100+ images, uploading them to a different server (one with HTTPS) and then re linking them?

When I logged into my site ACP, I received this message "The last 4 emails the system attempted to send failed. This indicates there is probably an error with your email settings." My method of email delivery is PHP. Emails have been sending just fine, at least I thought. I have also come across this message checking the settings. I ran a test email to see if I received it, but I didn't.

Lately I have been seeing quite a few of slow loading pages: Almost 18 seconds, while everything else is absolutely blazing fast. How to find out what is going on and what is happening? Should I try doing some maintenance for the SQL database, could be from there? What can I do about it?

I hope somebody has been in a similar situation, and can give me any advice. The project in question is over 20 years old. It is still very busy with 1,000 online users at a time. There are over 300,000 users registered during past years. I assume that at least 50% of the email addresses are not valid anymore. But this is just an assumption, I have no idea indeed. I am going to switch to Amazon SES and use bounce management by stoo. Hello everyone, for a few days now, emails for forgotten passwords have stopped working. On the other hand, other emails like connexion notification e-mails from other devices seems to work but not everytime. I am getting the Dangerous PHP Functions Message being queued up. However, I don't believe it is correct. I will document it below. Hi, I run a community that has been going since 2007 and our web server was recently found to have several malware infections. My webhost has suggested removing the old forum files and uploading a fresh copy to remove any files that may have been infected with a backdoor for reinfection. I tried making a copy of my database and uploading a fresh set of files to a new directory, then editing conf_global.php to use the new database and while this loads some details, various pages are missing, including the login page. Can anyone suggest the best way to go about achieving this? Best, Paul

I’m reviewing my dedicated server with the fact that I need to move away from centos 7 with CPanel/WHM anyway, to update. I’m wondering what everyone is running, especially with Google core web vitals now impacting search ranking and the need for speed. Hey All-- Our CreditInfoCenter.com community forum started to experience what appears to be a corrupted DB where users with accounts and admins cannot login. As the admin, this doesn't give me the ability to diagnose the issue because I have no access to the backend. Normal anonymous visitors can view the site one or two pages deep, but after that, they see this error. Users with accounts see a mess and have no way of logging out. I've been having an issue with the URL rewrite option that I can't seem to resolve on my site, despite having everything setup the right way from what I can tell. I just recently moved my site from one server to another and everything was working until we accidently chmod 777 / recursively and now we are getting this error does anyone have any ideas? Our IPS installation is 777 so the permissions are set.
