We already set the System > Settings > Web App > Manifest configuration. We need to set something else additionally. A third-party service like OneSignal? Or tweak any hosting server configuration / library?

Hi, We are moving our dev sites to different domain so I would like to change test site url but I cannot do that: "There seems to still be an installation of Invision Community at the URL on file. Before you can change the URL, you must first remove the existing installation." I do not want to remove main community. Test url domain which is on file is already disabled. Please advise what can I do

I am currently running my IPB on Maria DB 5.7.36 - the support dashboard is now asking to upgrade to 8.0.13 or above. So I contacted the support of my hosting to do the upgrade - now they are asking which version should be installed since version 10.6 would be available at the moment. Thanks for your help in forward.

Hey there, today randomly this error appeared on my Forum. My users cant login anymore and i also cant access the admin cp anymore. It wont let me login, it just reloads the site. Also when im on the forum it says "A configuration or server error has occured" in the tab title and if i check error logs of my hosting provider it says this: (see attached files) Or for a short part of the error log: I hope you can help me! Hello folks I started the forum update from admin panel and it failed with following message We were unable to start a PHP session. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue. Just curious, something I thought about doing on 3.x but never tried. In theory (as I've had complaints) ... ... What would happen to the few user accounts that have signed up with either FB or Twitter/X -if- I was to disable those registration methods ? I'm not personally keen on those anyway really, its not a concern to fill in a short form. Would they still be able to sign in but have to run lost password recovery and/or would the system want their email to sign in ? When I try to upgrade There's a supposed database error, even though the forum and store all seem to work fine, and when I click "FIT THIS" it generates the following message and an enormously long list of manual things to do (all above my pay grade): "There are some problems with your database. Normally it is safe to try to fix these problems automatically however if your community is large, you may want to run the necessary queries manually. When looking at the list of topics in a forum some topics have this grey star, its seems to indicate those where I have posted a reply. The other icons have a hover over feature that displays when they mean (eg. Featured), should the grey star do the same?

Was working on something new and started issuing POSTs to a Pages DB but it's erroring with a 500. System log entry below. Being this is a create of a record via a POST, I'm not sure why it is triggering an edit (requiring a record_id) which is also via a POST.

Hello. I have a serious problem with my installation. I was setting up the S3 external storage for an application, and it has all gone down. There is no way to access the ACP or the website. I set the constant recovery_mode , but it didn't work. The storage works fine with other applications and general attachments and images. We're sorry, but a temporary technical error has occurred which means we cannot display this site right now. Table '.\remnants_boards\ipbcore_store' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed You can try again by clicking the button below, or try again later. The only way I can seem to get into the Admin Center is if I remove \define( 'STORE_METHOD', 'Database' ); this brings things up; however, it also take out all databases etc. How / Where can go to repair this crashed Database. I've already tried recovery mode, and that didn't resolve the issue.

I found the guide about venue and I added the sample venue of Buckingham Palace, as well as the location I would like to add, The Old Joinery, Ravensbourne Wharf, Norman Road, Greenwich SE10 9QF United Kindgom. Here are images of the venue settings and the resulting calendar display. I am using 4.7.12 devsite testing. Whether I select Buckingham Palace or The Old Joinery, I still get this same display, in terms of no Google Map. Why isn't the Google Map displaying?

We have an issue with notifications (bell on the site) are lagging. There is a new message in the topic, the topic is highlighted in bold. The user already read it, but the notification to the list comes later. I do not know how and whether it is related to our email notifications issue. But users have started to complain around the time we have started to get timeout error in email logs. Hi, folks. I'm seeing some bizarre behavior with images on a page. Hello. I'm having trouble with the background moving of files. My hosting company was getting cranky about how many & size of my files, so I set up an S3 storage. I moved one section at a time, starting with some small areas such as blogs images/attachments, downloads, etc. Once that worked fine, I moved onto a larger area (my Gallery), which also went well and was completed in a few hours.
