Cache Control Extensible for Components

As a developer I am starting to use the caching system more, realizing that I am querying often for stuff that does not change too often. Because of this, I need to write into my component's ACP to rebuild these caches, but if there was a problem with a cache, I would expect some people to go to the cache control under Tools to rebuild them, however mine would not be shown or rebuilt with that utility. I think it would be helpful if a 'components cache' was able to be listed in there as well (separate PHP file per cache that includes a rebuild script) that will be executed if the user decides to rebuild that specific cache or to rebuild all caches. User Specific Permissions?

Is it possible to set specific users to have specific permissions? Like if I have a person labeled as Moderator, and he moderates like 2 or 3 forums, he automatically gets moderator permissions I set there. But what if I have someone who is something like a Graphics member, they get permissions from the Graphics Team (Permission Mask), and I can do a 2nd permission mask for the abilities. But you can only do that to UserGroups right? Is there anyway to change a user's permissions specifically? Like in phpbb2? When I am in Management in the ACP and go to Manage Members, there isn't anything that I can find where you can edit their specific permissions for forums.

If a Member has made a topic which resides within a password protected forums, it is shown in the profile on the latest topic tab. This is causing an uproar over at my forum...I think you should make it so topics in password protected forums are not pulled.

Unless I'm missing a link somewhere, there should be a control area for the new profile system. More specifically, I would like to show/hide public tabs at my discretion (and possibly order them). For instance, I have IP.Gallery, but I do not want the gallery tab to show in my members' profiles. Keith

So I've been co-administrating a vBulletin board (Thats where I got the MCP idea), and they have a few minor things that we should have in 3.0 I'd feel. Moderator Control Panel It's like the admin control panel, but lists threads/posts/calendar events that need approval, reported threads, posting announcements (instead of crammed away in the "my controls" section), and banning users (this should be on a moderator permission level basis though, I want my mods to be able to ban people, other people don't...). How about adding something in the Board Statistics, where "# anonymous users" is, add "# active users". I think this could be helpful if you want to keep track of your active users you have on your site.

I am looking for something similar to w.bloggar which I use to post to my Word Press blog. Also - is there a way to get a 'youtube' embeded into a forum? upgrade help

i installed this upgrade for 2.2 rc3 on my test forum awhile back and it worked just fine, now im trying to do it again, BUt it keeps timing out when it gets to the "Master templates rebuilt". The website is on a different server now so thats probably why. It seems to be upgraded then, but without doing that job. Does anyone know what comes after "Master templates rebuilt, proceeding to recache templates..." in the upgrade process and if it would be very bad to gao ahead and skip them and run the tool from the admin cp? everything on the forum does seem to be upgraded though and works... so far.. but i'm still worried.

Unable to save copy of message

I don't know whether this is a bug but I have just sent a message (to Lindy) and tried to save a copy but I was informed that my folder is full and I should delete some messages - but it is actually empty! I therefore had to send it without being able to save it. ??? Regards

I have a few suggestions about the help and support tab: The diagnosis section should be under tools and settings or admin - as it isn't really supportUnder 'send support ticket' there should be a message saying whether or not the guys are in the office or not. If not, when will they be back.
