So i noticed that the advertisers on my board keep posting the same (or at least same domain name) at the bottom of the single post that comes from each account they make. Then i noticed I cant really do what i want to do with the current IPB. What I want to do is add a ban type where if a certain link (or word, for other circumstances) is included in a post, options we choose are automatically executed, like say moving the user to the "banned" user group and maybe banning the ip. that'd be nice.

Hi, i was testing IPB 3.0 Beta 5 when i saw that in Bulk Mailer dissapeared the option to: Honor 'Allow admin to email me' member setting to only email those who have opted in? I really need this option, as i am no spammer. I hate spammers.

I have a small gripe with the admin cp resitriction settings in 3.0. I want to make an admin group that has full access to everything except fiddling around with admins. However, that means I have to go through everything and individually check each little box. Is there a way to "check all boxes" and then I can just deselect the few that I don't want? Cheers

Hello I tested yesterday the new include system for translation. It is interesting, but I don't find how export the translate language. When I choose Export Language Pack, only the english strings are exported. Maybe I miss a thing, but I think it is a lack. What is the recommendation to create a language pack for IP.Board 3 ?

When you click the "?" help button, it pops up the help page in a window. However, upon closing that window, i discovered that it redirected me to the help page in the main window as well. That's a bug.

Hi all IPB beta users, I got some questions about ipb b5 that I've still not figured out, but I'm sure you have ;) When warning members, checking the box don't put them in the new banned usergroup. Same goes from acp, although there you can choose to move him to another usergroup... What's then the use of this default membergroup if they don't get moved there unless you do it manually afterwords? The mark user as spam don't hide the users PMs or posts as default... usergroups and skin permissions

Will IPB 3 offer this? If it doesn't, it certainly should. Are their skin permissions to where only specified usergroups can see a specific forum skin? For example, I would like to offer multiple skin options on my board to "veteran members" or something along those lines. But, I don't want the regular old registered member to be able to see it.

Codebox failure on both 2.3.6 and 3.0...

I have some code that was posted on my forum which does not correctly display in "codebox" under v2.3.6 - it just does not display in a box. However "code" works correctly. Under v3.0 it displays within a "codebox" but in Opera 9.64 the bottom of the board gets mangled, internet explorer looks to be working fine but it really chews up CPU cycles whilst scrolling through it. If I try to go into the IP.Board Subforum in Peer-to-Peer Technical Support, I get this message: Now, this makes sense, as the only active product I have is IP.Blog, I don't have an active Ip.Board. But, what doesn't make sense, is I can see the forums for IP.Gallery and IP.Downloads, which I never purchased.. EDIT: I can view all other customer forums, just not that specific one. EDIT 2: I can also download from resources!

I asked around a few places to see if anyone is willing to make a paid mod/app for my board, nobody responded so I guess most have jobs :lol: - All joking aside, what I'm looking for is a mod that will integrate the calendar with the board: New calendar event would make a post in a default/selected forum. Forum members can RSVP to attend the event ie: yes/maybe/no and the list of members and there decisions would be populated in a post (or just the 'yes/maybe' selections' Kind of the same system as Meetup has, my forum (when IPB 3 gets released) is for a sportsbike riding group, we attend big rides every week/weekend and do track days etc, would be good to post a mee…

I need some major help. I bought everything and installed everything correctly. But, now I have no clue how to install the IP.Blog and IP.Gallery. I checked in the IPS Knowledge Base and they only had an installation guide on IP.Board itself which messed up my installation process because it deleted the entire board. So, I had one of my friends install it for me. But, now he doesn't want to help and I need help installing the Blog and Gallery. Can someone show me a guide to this, or tell me how to do this? It would be nice if the rep system had an option in the forum settings that can make it to where you can turn off the rep system on a per forum basis. By that I mean like if you set it to No you can't rep people in that forum. It would be useful for forums that are there more for function then for use. Like rules forums and Test forums and Silly games forums. For now I'm going to attempt logic in skinning them out but it would be nice if it were a setting you could turn on or off.

In the tracker we can see these (3.0.0 Beta ?6?) in the fixed in column. Is there going to be a beta 6? Though I'm no developer but beta 4 and 5 seems relatively stable.
