Youp3 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hello I tested yesterday the new include system for translation. It is interesting, but I don't find how export the translate language. When I choose Export Language Pack, only the english strings are exported. Maybe I miss a thing, but I think it is a lack. What is the recommendation to create a language pack for IP.Board 3 ?
bfarber Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Notice id=1 in the URL? You're exporting the english language pack. Did you not create a NEW language pack that you are translating first, or are you translating the English language pack directly?

I tried the manipulation with the english pack and with a new pack (copy of english pack, id=2). I translated both with the same result. I did not import a new pack and translate it.
boon79 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 How can I create a new language pack? should I use the "Copy language pack" option or should I export the english lang pack then reimport it and translate it? Thanks

Youp3 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Either way would give you the same end result. So should I create a bug report as my translation can not be exported ?
Youp3 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Hello bfarber what do you think about my export problem ? regards
bfarber Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I think this is a feature suggestion/feedback forum, and not really an appropriate place to uphold a support or bug related discussion. :)
