Cannot view customer forums?

If I try to go into the IP.Board Subforum in Peer-to-Peer Technical Support, I get this message:

[#103149] Topics in this forum can only be read by current IPS customers. If you are a current IPS customer and are seeing this message, please be sure to login to the forum with the same email and password that you use for the client area.

If you need assistance logging in as a customer please submit a ticket and we will be happy to assist.

Now, this makes sense, as the only active product I have is IP.Blog, I don't have an active Ip.Board. But, what doesn't make sense, is I can see the forums for IP.Gallery and IP.Downloads, which I never purchased..

EDIT: I can view all other customer forums, just not that specific one.

EDIT 2: I can also download from resources!

Well, I can see and read customer lounge, and all forums excerpt IP.Board in P-t-P Tech Support.

Yeah, I was thinking on submitting a support ticket, but I figured it'd be more permission error than something that needs a ticket. But yeah, I was just curious, I see IP.Gallry and Downloads, though I never purchased those.

We did some testing and fixed up a few permission settings here and there, but ultimately we can't reproduce what you are talking about. If we setup an account with only the Blog mask (set it up to the same as yours) we can view the forums and see the list of topics (e.g. in Gallery) but if you click on a topic you should get an error and be unable to read the topic itself).

If you are saying you are able to read the topics in the other forums, PM me so we can debug a bit further. Just wanting to be sure we don't have any permissions issues of course.

I, too, cannot read the topics in there. I can see at the bottom of the forums that I am logged in. (I also have been registered with IPS for a while, with a board site I am admin on.) But when I click a topic to read, it gives the error that I must be logged in to view.

So I clicked the Contact Forum Moderator, and sent an email. It was immediately returned to me from the postmaster - it didn't go through.

postmaster@mail.hotmail.com (I don't use hotmail! I sent it from my live.com account)

You must have an active support contract to be able to read those forums. If you've recently renewed the support, try to log out of the forum, and then back in again. You have to do that in order to re-sync any licence specific data.

Thank you. Until our site's owner contacts IPS with a request to allow me to research how-to's here, can you suggest where I might find the specifics for Multiple Members section in ACP? I dled the pdf docs for our IPboard version, but it didn't cover what I was looking for. (That's just one of the things I'm trying to find answers to.) Again, thank you, m4rtin.

I'm afraid we don't really allow IPB-assistance topics outside the appropriate resource forums, however if the site owner emails us we can add you as alternate contact to the account with their permission, which will grant you access to the resource forums. :)

Thanks! I've been waiting a while for him to do that. :P I'll try to be patient.
