I recently got an automated email from the billing department that one of my forums is about to renew. Now I have credit card info saved in my profile so this will happen with NO intervention from me. The problem? Well, I have 3 forums, each with Gallery and blogs and two with downloads as well. So far so good. But TWO of my forums and Gallery and downloads, I recently purchased version 3 licenses for and your guys performed the upgrades. IP.Board can handle only 1 bulk email each time, we need to wait for the current bulk email to finish before sending out another one. if we try to send another one , then the previous one is automatically cancelled without alert in this regard i want to suggest for future releases one of 3 options: 1- an alert prior to cancellation of the prvisous one, or 2- forcing the user to cancel the previous one, or 3- forcing the user to cancel or pause the previous one + a pause facility, which will allow max flexibility for users option 3 will be great

Is it possible to make use of reCAPTCHA as an available option in the Security section (System Settings) and select which Usergroups will use it, or just add a "Yes", "No" basis in every Usergroup? I know it's built into Guests, if you allow them to send PMs.

Recently I wanted to replace the default menu display with a custom one, this seems like an obvious spot to put a hook. However in order to replace the default there was a code modification and a skin mod. Both would be unnecessary if the menu were a hook with the standard menus controllable using the hook interface. Once an administrator account has been created or even when it is being created if you wish to manage their restrictions you are given all admin options with blank checkboxes... when creating the account wouldn't be better to have them all checked so you may uncheck those you do not wish them to have... and then also suppy uncheck / check all options? I'm sure there are others who'll agree with me on this one... and perhaps those who don't but its my feedback so :P

I was wondering if an additional feature in regards to gravatar be added to change the size of Gravatar's avatars from always being 80x80 to the max size of an uploaded avatar. You only need to add s=150 to the Gravatar URL as a parameter (in the query string) to upsize the avatar to say 150px square. Seems simple enough to me to upscale Gravatars

When useing "ACP Restrictions", if a group doesn't have access to something I would like it for them not to be able to see the tab. add: Would be nice for the ACP search to only return results that group can use.

Just wondering, could you add a feature where it would store reg_ip_address as the current ip_address in the _members table, and a current_ip_address. Where the current_ip_address would update everytime you login, and can be viewable by Super Moderators / Administrators, and Forum Moderators through a checkbox selection in the abilities area. (Forums) I was going to implement it myself, but would rather not damage the board.

Ok, so I purchased a license off of ize nearly 2 years ago, and all was well and good, until 2 days ago i try to login to my other account, display name, .Shawn, and find out it wont let me log in, so i try to recover my password, and it tells me there's no account in the system using that email address, so i find this a little fishy, so i contact support, and they tell me that the original owner has control of the account and that there,s no way to prove the account is mine, altho i have renewed it 2 times with my credit card, i gave them that info, gave them my email address that it used to be tied to, and pointed out the face that this guys name is scott i believe and …

Just wanted to say that since I joined I noticed IPB has really improved and offered a lot of new features that I wanted and others that I'm still trying. You put good software with a really helpful community and it turns out to be a really good experience. Thanks IPS :thumbsup: P.S. I really wish we could convert to community suite at any point :whistle:

Current skin: Love the changes, especially the new green bullets for unread subforums and the hover effect for buttons is nice. My only suggestion is to add the AJAX mark forum read thingy for subforum bullets as well. Lofi skin: I noticed it received an update as well. Is it complete? I don't want to say much on it if it isn't, but I don't think the changes from the previous version are good. Hi, Over the last couple of days I have had 13 registrations from two IPs in the same address range - I can find them all by searching the first 3 octets of the IP, however I can see no way of marking them all as spam in one go, is this possible, and if not could it be added in 3.0.4? Thanks

There are a lot of topics that get lost due to oblique discussions. If a moderator could hide those posts (giving the option to the user to see them, if he wants), a lot of discussions would remain on topic. There is a possibility in future version to have this feature or there is a possibilty doing this right now? Using anchor(meaning a specific place in the middle of your post) we can create a bookmark inside a post;very useful when the post is too long and you want people find fast the text you want to read, not wasting time. For example: If I want someone to read a little a fragment of text from a post, I put that anchor on the begining of the text and then I give him the link with anchor pointing that text. Thank you! The example I'm using is for an older topic, but yet failure. Now, I'm searching for a topic on speed test where we all posted our results for our internet speed. I don't know WHAT you're using for search results, but NOTHING was even close. I found the topic INSTANTLY having to use Google, with "speed test invision". SO yes I'm a bit put of by your search function.
