So iv downloaded the app, and connected to my board, although there is no "Mobile" options in my notifications list like shown in your tutorial here and iv tried sending my self PM's from other accounts etc but I dont get any mobile notifications. Yes iphone notifications is enabled like it says in the guide , what am I missing ?

On my demo board i have a lot of skins and im adding new ones and removing some that are finnished on a regular basics. Dont know if im blind or what, but most of the time i forget, that after i remove a skin, the image set for that skin is still on ftp and the only way i see to remove that folder with images - is via ftp. Wouldnt it be nice that after i remove skin an automatic check is preformed to see if some other skin is using same image set as the skin im removing and when it checks all skins i have installed it should do this: there are other skins(one or more) that are using same image set as the skin im removing - in this case do not prompt anything, just r…

Can it be possible for a means to delete template merge reports as it currently stands when you run the reports there is no way to delete them when you have finished with them and when you have a lot of reports listed it seems pointless when no longer required ?

As topic says, if you click "share topic" like 10 times, and then abort it 10 times, it will show under latest shared / most shared topics as shared 10 times, when it isn't shared at all.

I've wondered about this for awhile. Why does it force the permission masks to override instead of making it an option? It could come in handy to select other permission masks to add-on to a persons privileges instead of just simply overriding them. So to keep compatibility, there should be an option that defaults to "Override" that an admin could set to "Add on" so that chosen permission masks could perform either function. Something like... Also to add a higher category for 3.1.X and 3.0.X What you think? I think application modules don't really fit as a category. When I hear modules I think addons to applications. Like Bouncy Mail Unread count. Can't you just link to the extra addons on the page?

I have used vBulletin in the past and their Bulk Mailer can send HUNDREDS of Emails in just a couple of seconds. Compared to this IPB Bulk Mailer takes many minutes just to send a handful of Emails. Also vBulletin produces no database error messages like I have experienced multiple times with IPB. Obviously vBulletin are using a more reliable system for sending Bulk Mail in the Admin CP. Why doesn't IPB consider the same system as used by vBulletin?

I converted from Joomla (Kunena --> VB --> IPB) and somehow in the process I have lost or deleted the profile fields for website URL, AIM, Skype, etc. Can anyone tell me how I might go about either 1) restoring them or 2) making some new ones?

OK guys, here is my view of IPB now I have had a chance to play with it properly on my own licence etc and what I think it is missing in comparison to vbulletin. To me these would be the key areas that should be concentrated on in order to pull vbulletin apart at the seams ;) Search functionality - Yep, I can see this has been mentioned over and over so not gonna go into it. Hey. I noticed today that people whose License's have expired can't use the spam monitoring service. I can understand your position, but it seems kind of, for lack of a better word, stupid. I think it would be much more beneficial for the community as a whole if you would allow this service to work for Expired License customers. I get tons of Spammers each day, and nothing is stopping them, as the monitoring service is deactivated. I can understand $25 isn't much, but for some of us it is, and I just can't afford to renew until it is absolutely necessary. I was wondering if IPS could have a status page for the IP Chat server(s) the way it does for their hosted content servers? We have chat room issues from time to time, it would be nice to be able to rule out the IP Chat servers as the cause. Thanks

Welcome. Is there a way to automatically detect user's language by using their UserAgent? If not in the core, then maybe there's a modification for that? I believe it's fairly easy to implement, it would be great to see it in an upcoming release if it's not possible yet. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hello, I was hoping that IPS could make the quote tool have the cursor start inside of the quote code. VBulletin has this feature. I dislike having to try to click inside of the " quote]" space every time I want to use this tool. Thanks

I really think the ACP Dashboard should be changed back to how it was in previous versions (3.0.5,3.1.0,3.1.1) Instead of how it is in 3.1.2 because I like being able to quickly go to a section,instead of searching for it,etc.

Hello, So much time I have lost my text, by doing a ctrl + w. It's insupportable. You should add an automatic draft in ajax, like the one in google doc, to save the text in the editor (in all apps), each 5 secondes for exemple. Then, after the validation, the draft is deleted. I've been hanging around here the last few days and went back to one of my boards last night. And I just thought how much snappier and 'alive' the board felt compared to this one. There are a number of reasons and I'll post them as and when I get time (/become a licensed customer). First one tho is lack of ajax quick reply. Is this due to get added in 3.1? Sometimes I wanted to know what is going on my board right now and it seems like there should be a way to see what is happening. Specifically, a live module. The live module should be configurable for the forums or IP.Content and is a feature that shows your community what is going on right now. IE. Like the status update block, this one shows me who just posted, who commented on a blog, who just uploaded a new image, who started a new thread, who updated their status. It would show a configurable amount of latest updates.

Suggestion: Closing a "report" should notify the reporting member (or placing on hold). Otherwise members will not know the issue has been resolved unless the mod takes the time to do that for all reports (time consuming). This type of closed loop feedback allows members know things have been addressed and reduces the work load by the mods. I would think these levels make sense... Open In Work On Hold (maybe set a selectable timer to re-open tickets on hold -- remind the mods) Closed (Issue Resolved) Closed (Issue Unresolved) Each level will send a PM to the reporting member when the status changes. Thoughts?

Allow for there to only be categories of avatars in the drop down without the need of "Base Gallery" I don't think the default avatar feature thing accepts the Blank_avatar image in other categories.
