I thought this used to be an option, but I just can't find it on my own 3.2 forum at the moment. Any help locating this? I like to turn off signatures myself, for a cleaner view. edit: nvm, found the ignore signatures under Ignore Prefs at the very top.

I think it would be nice to have a few added features to the iCal feed like the ability (or have it as default) to add in a row switch for each event to make them more readable (on the monthly view) ... and the ability on how each event is displayed (ie colored titles, line breaks, etc). It would also be sweet if the import could detect changes to previous feeds (such as descriptions) and import any changes that is found rather than just skipping the event.

After upgrade my forum from 2.0.4 to 2.1.1 my forum become Very Very Very slow when Post new topic and post reply !!! . I was using IBF sine 2002 , in that time IBf is a fastest , most secure php forum . But after upgrade and upgrade , IBF now become a slowest forum ( slower than VBP , phpBB for sure ) It look like your guys add too much option ( that acttually i dont need ) and now IBF become a big fat old man ! :( My forum here : http://forum.vn99.net :( it getting slower everytime i upgrade forum to new version .

I had just posted a topic in one of the forum and i was totally shocked to see that when i posted topic it was all changed. Their was huge gap between my sentences, the big size sentence which i posted in center had huge gap and all my sentences had like 5-6 lines blank space between them. I was like, had to edit it 3 times to get it proper without that much spacing. I seriously did not expect this with 3.2. So want to ask, why should one go for 3.2 when i had to like spend some minutes writing thread and loads of minutes editing the thread, if community becomes big that thing is going to be a real problem O.O

I realise that there is an existing method to override a members user group permission set with the permissions from another user group, however I would ask that admins are given more flexibility when dealing with users on an individual basis for individual features/applications/permissions. For example, in addition to being able to suspend posting abilities, I would request the option to suspend an individual member from giving reputation, uploading to the Gallery, posting a Blog etc without also having to block access to every other function or drop their account to a basic permission set. This would enable admins to restrict a specific member from a certain action …

The E-Mail format / content for all by IP.Nexus send E-Mails should become a professional "look and feel". Example: All E-Mails missing a "Footer" like "Your BOARDNAME Team" or something else (with a placeholder for "BOARDNAME"). (Yes, i know, everyone can edit the language pack, but that could never be the intention)

It would be nice if you could posted news in Facebook page wall. You are using this now: http://www.facebook....app_23798139265 . Its okay i quess, but because you dont post those news directly in pages wall, they dont get anyones news feed. have to come to page to read them or install that app. No-one does that! Remove that crappy app and start adding your news directly to that pages wall, then your followers can automaticly see that news in theyr news feed in Facebook. I thought it would be interesting to add where a topic can be refreshed as in it is new to the user when it is updated by the author. It doesn't even have to be new, it could display as some sort of updated icon, to inform users that the topic's main post has been updated. Also, an option to prevent people from posting more than once in a topic in a row. Some easy implementions that I'm dieting to have.

Hello, everyone. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but hopefully not. In 3.2.2, is there a settings somewhere that allows guests to see the mini profile pictures while disallowing them to view the actual member profiles? The last I knew or saw is that if guests were allowed to view the mini profile pictures, they were also able to view member profiles. That's not what I want.

This was an option in vBSEO. As much as it's nice looking at a source all nicely laid out like when you "view source", it causes the page to be slightly bigger in size. Note the word "slightly". This may not be a "must have" or "priority" addition to IP.SEO, I still think it should be looked into, especially with Google looking more and more into page speed, this may give it just a lil bit of an edge over a competitor. Each little thing counts as long as it doesn't adversely affect the users, and this is one option that most definitely wouldn't.

Pretty much as per the header. In the mobile theme if you go to "new content" you'll find you can only click next/back. There are no page numbers or pagination which can be a huge pain for busy forums.

1. Talking to a wall? I really need to see if I'm replying to someone who is online, or not. Hovering over user name just to see what his/her status is....really annoying. Surely there is a hook for it, which I installed on my board, but here it's not. Why was it removed as a permanent feature is beyond me. 2. "Mark all as read" at the top of the board. I made a simple edit on my board so it's there: I got so used to it, that I'm automatically looking for this button at IPS forum, but no... Scroll all the way down, open drop-up menu....Eureka...it's there... Grrrrr....

right now, if i want to move all activities in the system scheduler to cron, i have to manually disable all of them one by one, get the curl commands and add cron formatting. it would be easier for us with a shell to just have a function that disables all activities and outputs all of them as a formatted crontab which includes the time preset, ready to be pasted in crontab.

There is a constant in initdata.php called IPS_MEMORY_DEBUG_MODE that lets us turn on memory logging to see if there are some memory issues in the scripts. This is good, but the problem with this is, all it does is show a table of data on the page at the bottom, in the debug section. This makes it unusable for things like ajax functions. Would there be any way to implement something where we could log memory usage to a log file instead of just printing it on the page?

Hello IPS, greetings community, with the next major update, be it 3.3 or 4.0 or whatever, I would like to see a full list of features removed. I know, from a marketing-point it seems crazy to mention features that are lost, but apparently many people didn't know that avatar-galleries and many other features were gone. Especially as these were not visible to those of us who visited your beta-testboard. I agree that many people won't read this or overread it, but then atleast it was said. Currently, the cursor goes at the end of the closing quote tag after clicking the quote BB Code button. I've found it easier to use this BB code on boards that place the cursor between the opening and closing tags, allowing a simple paste to finish the job. This is a bit easier than pasting what you want in the post box, then highlighting it and clicking the quote button afterwards, also.

I have a suggestion in regards of when you are running a forum with visitors and members from different countries, writing and reading different languages. I have adopted this technique myself in another project hosting tasting notes. In the profile, add setting to select with language you write posts in default on the forum. Selectable languages are among those Google can translate between. This language setting will also be the default "reading" language. So when members post topics, the different languages they are writing in are saved together with the posts, PM etc. When another member reads the topics/PM's they are automatically translated to that users default…

There are lots of people on my forum adding liks like: www.something.com which are always interpreted as text by the board. It would definetely be good for my forum to transform them into hyperlinks automatically and that means: - when a user enters www.something.com to be automatically changed to http://www.something.com ; As you can see the last one is a hyperlink without me having to tell the board interpret it that way.
