I haven't even tested v4.0 but this problem is frustratingly common in v3.4.7: Please offer feature parity and similar layout in the ACP across all apps. For example: Overview, Settings, Statistics, and Tools all in the same order Same text and order of features in settingsSame Advanced table tools and category options

I am curious if there is examples here of different blogs form different services that are importing rss feeds into the blog? ON the current platform I have blogs that post as HTML or just random links (word press) I am hoping 4.0 import blogs rss will display much better.

Please forgive me, as I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I couldn't find the right combo of search terms either on Google or here. Previously, you could write a block of PHP by enclosing it in <php></php> tags, but now that doesn't seem to be the case, as it just spits out an HTML-commented copy of your code. What am I missing?

I recently did a fresh install of the new beta, and found some bugs. I poked around on the bug tracker, and found that since I have installed my version, some of the bugs had been fixed ( link to one of the bugs that have been fixed: http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/beta6-show-as-thumbnails-r2103/ ) . I now wish to also get these fixes to be reflected on my system. I have already tried mysite.com/admin/upgrade, but I get the following message: 'There are no applications available to upgrade'. So my question is the following: How can I get the fixed version on my system? Will all the fixes be released in the next beta at a later stage, or is there a way to get…

Hi, I want to pay the community and, in the first order, the development team attention that the 4.0 looks has issues with the performance, comparing to previous versions. I did these tests to make sure if I will upgrade to 4.0 my production, this will not require any efforts and investments for my current hosting. BTW, currently I'm using 2.1.7 and it's time to move forward. What I did, I run 10 instances of the Chrome, as used an auto refresh plugin, with schedule every 10 seconds. Pages reloaded with random start. So, in general, it simulated 10 active reading users on my board, where each of them click a link every 10 seconds randomly - in average 1 click/sec. …

If my memory does not mistake me, I remember that before the release of the first beta there was a discussion about a new feature of IPS 4 that was requested by users that was related to similar content block. Most users wanted similar content based on title, not on tags, as long as many users do not use tags or if they do, do it wrong. But now, testing beta 5, I have realized that similar content is based on tags only. Am I missing something?

I have alot of sub menus on my community and I want to remove the dropdown arrow from the menu I want to remove it from. It would be nice if this was an option in the menu creation

I suspect I'm being super stupid ... but I can't work out how to allow comments to be left on my blogs. I can't see any option under Community > Blogs > Settings and editing Community > Blogs > Blogs isn't helping. I thought it might be visible as permissions under Members > Groups but Blogs isn't one of the tabbed apps. So my blogs don't allow comments. I must have changed some setting somewhere. Can anybody shed any light on the mystery? Thanks!

I am using SSL with CloudFlare and it has started making only my IPB v4 websites CSS to not load. I have decided I want to disable SSL on this particular domain and wanted to know how to fix all of the links. I changed the site domain in the config file but when clicking on links and such it still tries to load the https url. Is there a way to disable SSL from IPB?

I bought a second license and I am currently setting up a new 4.0 site. While doing this over the last weeks I have been filing dozens of bug reports for IPS 4.0. Most of them have been marked “fixed”. However, when I install the newest update, I find, that quite a few persist on my site and it is getting more and more frustrating. My suspicion is: “fixed” is meant for a new IPS installations, but it doesn’t always mean that the upgrade routine is actually fixing the issues on my beta installation. Am I right or am I wrong? So this is primarily because I have been SPAMMED with follow alerts for people I follow because I occasionally like their content and want to check it out since I turned on the "Notify me of things I follow" setting. Thing is, people aren't like normal followed content as there isn't just one thing to follow. That being said (and I understand that this may have to wait for a future point version of IPB4) I would like to propose a feature/change to the people following procedure/workings. I think it would be more prudent if, when you follow someone there is either a list of "notify me when" instead of an all or nothing. Like with some people like @Michael I'd love to follo…

I've IPS4 Beta 5b. Every asked question appears in block "Questions with no best answer" and in "XX questions in this forum". This block is limited to 15 questions with no answer/no best answer and I can't even disable this Please, add the feature to disable this annoying and useless block because we have already an option to filter that unaswered questions. Thanks.

I have activated for the first time "Who's Browsing" widget on my forum v4. As i see, it's different then v3. Because it don't show how many guests read this topic, right? Maybe for you, this isn't important but i would like if we can change and see how many guests (and/or search engine bots also) read the topics, this will be possible?
