I haven't submitted tickets or feedback on any of this stuff yet, but these are all of the outstanding issues I have with the editor 1. Editor on mobile - can't delete quote boxes 2. When I mention someone, I can't click Enter to start a new line. 3. When you click option to display link as text link, I hate how editor refreshes to top instead of staying at cursor.

I just used the club invite feature, and when switching to the account that was invited there was no way to tell that an invitation was sent. Can there at least be a notification that appears when the user logs in (or even better a PM sent to them)

I hardly find sites that uses a checkbox for TOS, so i suggest to be romoved. The confirmation password field is used less and less by others, maybe should be removed too

With 4.2 and the advent of new forum views it would be nice to have the widget layouts change with each view. For example I dont need the most recent topics widget when using the fluid layout view, but I would like to have it when using the traditional view.

Hello, I have a suggestion that there should be an option to control advertisements. For example, Admin should be able to select if Advertisements should be shown in One Specific Forum Category or In a Section like Clubs only. Thanks.

Hi guys, I really do love the new design - as always you did a really go job with this one. However, there is one thing that I find really disgusting Probably change this with some more space: I know you do not use this kind of boxes a lot anymore - however, old IPS Websites that used this as pages template might be happy as well if there is a general update on the default template.

Yes more clubs stuff. Public Clubs are unjoinable since anyone can contribute to it however there are a few flaws with this. Only site staff and the creator can manage the content in such a club. You cannot assign moderators to public clubs which I believe is more important than having moderators for any other club type. You cannot follow the club. With the other clubs, when you join it you can see the content posted in it in your personal club feed or around the site where the clubs widget is. However since you can't join it this functionality is not possible for any club that is set public that you would like to be updated about. Can't show …

Hi, Checking the logs today I found several users trying to unsubscribe from our mass emails, with most of them trying it several times, and I was wondering why this was happening. Checking this issue further, I found that the error message the user receives is this one: no_user_to_unsubscribe Now, this a very cryptic message, because in all cases I checked, the user existed and he was already unsubscribed. A cool tool would be to rebuild the reactions database. Specifically because if you change something from, lets say a positive to a neutral rating, you cannot do it retroactively do this. It uses the values in the reputation index. Recounting the reputation appears to only go through the index and does not update the values to the corrected values from the reactions and then count them.

it would be nice to see all the topics posted in the admin so you don't have to sing in the website? so if you have a list of topics in any forum it would show up like you have in the attachments folder where you can just delete the topic after it is reported so you don't have to login to the forums so if you don't have a moderator on you can just remove that topic your self

On the home page on the site there is a list of blogs clicking on the link always scrolls to the bottom, its distracting I would think the the title / link would stay at the top the reply count bubble would take you to the latest comment.

So I brought this up when 4.0 came out and @Kevin Carwile came out with a temporary fix that allowed you to choose what types of notifications you could get from each user. This worked for a few versions but hasn't worked in forever. I would love that this be core. Some people I want to see just their status updates but not their thread. Or their threads and not their replies. Or maybe they are graphics artists and so I just want to see their gallery images, I don't care about their forum posts at all. Hi some of my users do not want to upload the photos to the forum, but to insert the pictures in the posts via the links (not to download and upload again). As my site is using SSL I am caching the images (Cache remote images). I think it could be a good option to be able to generate thumbnails for cached images (may be only if caching set to permanent), it could save a lot of traffic, and pictures anyway already on my server, but only shrunk during the display.

I have a couple suggestions regarding Commerce. 1a) Donation goals should reset on an interval (monthly interval probably a sane default). Reasoning being that the current goal system feels like it's designed for fundraising for charities. That's cool, but there are other communities (like mine) who take donations to fund game servers that players enjoy. 1b) At the very least, it should be easier to add a System Task to reset the "Raised Amount" on an interval. So, to help IPB to got a better commerce solution there's one important thing missing. It's called: "Retoure", comm. return delivery. A member bought a product and want to send it back on a easy way. (Here in Germany members can take a retour 14 days after buying a product) So there's a missing button and a missing overlay to follow these products on acp. I think this would be a big big important thing on every eShop. Also to send the member a return delivery shipment label. What does the other members here think about it?

So while going through Alpha I came across a use instance that may be something others want as well. Club owners should be able to change the status of their club based on the type of clubs they can have. For instance if I start a private club (because I want to get it setup or whatever) and then afterward I want it to go public the only current way to do this is to ask an admin to do this for them. I believe it is prudent that, with setting permissions in the group settings, to be able to change the group from Private to Open or to Closed (application type) or vice versa. There is an option in Gallery that you can set a specific image to the category, the album or both image. This is a great feature however if you want to reset the image to be the most recent image again there is no way to do this. Both om the album and category level. The only way to change out the image at this point is to set a new image as the category/album image. While this is great if you want to feature a specific image for every category however if you are messing around or testing things this is a permanent change. The only way I know of to fix this is to create a new category and move all of the images and albums to that category however that doesn't fix th…

I've mentioned it a few times in the past. And with 4.2 coming along I thought I might try again. Who knows maybe it will be done. Basically. Customization in the menu manager is decent but needs more flexibility. This flexibility can be gained by adding a new option, Like external link. But for internal links. We really need a way for the system to recognise when it is an internal site link and then show an active state when on that page. How this affects me?? My site is focused around 4 forums. Hello does that mean that ipb has such an big security issue that we need a patch every week? Will the Update rotation stay like that? I have to rename and edit some stuff every time .
