Just wanted to say thanks to everyone using the beta release of Invision Community 4.2. We have already fixed your major issues and most people are reporting that things are running generally quite well.

Thank you for letting us test, provide feedback and just make us feel part of this great piece of software.

Download files from client area, upload files and run the upgrade process as normal.

Tks. Thought it would be like a regular version via ACP

Tks.

Cool, those that have upgraded I like to see some other links to see what the outcome and the results

Does this mean release may be sooner than planned? I ask because I'm putting off final preparations :D Do I need to not do that hehe

I think that's normal too. It seems IPS delivers them with delay between each customer. I am running two licenses and sometimes it takes 24h until I can use the update feature on my other forum license

You all realize you can force a check of updates correct?

ACP > Applications > Check for Updates

Thanks @Charles and everyone on the IPS team!

I am anxious to roll this out to my community.

We plan on having quite a few beta releases. No need to rush :)

ACP > Applications > Check for Updates

Yes, it only checks once a day by default but you can force it there.

Thank you too, for giving us the opportunity to test, comment and join the fun :)

Mine isn't because I don't have this:

That's why it didn't appear.

This has been a long time ago for me ...
The upgrade check for beta 1 did not find anything.

I downloaded Beta 2 and upgraded manually.

It worked for me after add the constants file.

Probably, my upgrade check has gone through the server IPS transit lol :)

I did a new test.

Autouprade 4.1.19.2 ->  4.2.0 Beta 2  works smoothly, accurately and without any problems

Is there a specific place to post suggestions for 4.2?

@Ohio Guns This forum. If it's a Bug you should report it to the Bug Tracker though.

Where is the bug tracker?
