I am very sure that many designer have this issue with designer mode, let say i have 50+ themes in my Admin CP and only wish to update one theme in designer mode at the moment you need run designer mode wait to all 50+ themes synced and then can work on x theme, would be really nice have option to only run selected theme's in designer mode this would reduce the amount time take for all theme to sync, as when leave designer mode can select only x theme worked on reducing time take leave designer mode would be nice this option before and after

I was recently on webhostingtalk.com and responded to an old thread, only to get a warning that the thread was over 10 months old and did I really want to respond to such an old topic? Is there anyone else here who thinks this might be a good thing to (optionally) enable for IPS forums?

Being I'm Diesel Truck Site I've been known to work on some of my members truck I would love to be able to invoice them for the work I'm doing for there truck on the site. The problem is there is no way to do fractional quantity. So say I charge $60 a hour for labor and need to do a valve lash adjustment and got to charge them for 1.5 hours. Commerce Module dumps the fractional value from the invoice. Say I got to sell them a 1/2 gallon of oil to top off a crankcase oil? Again Commerce drops the decimal. I'm sure there is an easy way to resolve this for the programmers here...

Hello, I'd like to make two friendly suggestions. The first suggestion is in regard to the Send an email when a user logs in from a new device? setting, which is currently located in the Login Settings area of the AdminCP. I feel that the setting might be better placed in the Member Settings > Notifications area, where administrators can explicitly turn the feature on or off (as usual), and further force the user to have it enabled, if the administrator so wishes to do so. By moving the setting there, it would provide additional flexibility to end-users, since users could individually decide whether or not to enable the feature as they personally see fit. I b…

As I browse through my 4 pages of followed content (I'm sure others here have much more), and as I search each of my plugins for updates, it occurs to me that things would go much faster if there were a dynamic search field for these and other places which would produce results as I typed. It would take much less time for me to type "clubs" into a search field which dynamically updates results below to match my text. We already have this for selecting PM recipients and in many other places where we enter user names - why shouldn't we have this functionality in many (almost all?) search scenarios? This actually applies not only to the activity streams, but also to feed widgets, etc. You basically have two options: 1. Include all forums and topics in activity/widget 2. Include selected forums and topics in activity/widget The problem with 2 is that once you exclude one forum (or to be more precise - include all but one), then when a new forum is added it is also automatically in the exclusion list. Hello! I think more people known about Black Friday (is the day, when many store do big discounts). Now in IPBoard we can do coupons and discounts for any products. If you 50, 100 or more items in store you can not quickly add discounts for all and it's a problem if you want do sales. I suggest add a discount not only for item, but also for categories with certain time, groups and etc. Thanks a lot.

I've been spending a few bucks on the Black Friday specials here. I don't get excited about much these days, but I have to say that the community here never fails to stoke my excitement about building my own website. Invision and community has (re)awakened the nerd in me after a hiatus which is too complicated to explain, for which I thank all of you. And yes, there is red wine talking. But the red wine isn't responsible for my enthusiasm and my willingness to tinker with my site and its plethora of new apps and plugins. Yes, I said "plethora." Ohhhh, yeah.

Hi all ! For the last 3 months I have been involved in a project with an intense use of tags. Probably tags are not used intensively in most Communities, but I'd like to suggest a few ideas that maybe might be worth considering. Personally, I'd like more options in the adminCP with tags. For example, the ability to decide how many tags appear in the topic grid list , None, 1, 2, 3 ... all of them ? Just now i understand my wrong understanding of load method) if i try to load member by his id, which is not exist on forum ($member = \IPS\Member::load(123456789)->member_id - returned null), set some params $member->name = 'somename'; and call $member->save() - it will save with new member_id from auto_increment value. But i tried to load 123456789! Why it saved in other id filed value? I follow the code changes in ActiveRecord and Member classes and nothing changed finded . Just an idea I've been wondering about for the past little while: What do you all think about having a forum where Invision clients could advertise their services (to other clients and the public at large)? I'm talking mainly about those of us who offer professional services which may or may not be based on the Invision CMS, and who aren't developers or contributors, but who might be able to use an advertising platform here to post about what they do and what they can offer? I think that when one browses to the Marketplace splash page, right near the top there should be a Quick Search function where someone can enter a member name (in the dynamic update field which shows options as you type), then click Go or something to be taken directly to that person's Marketplace files. I think it would save a lot of time browsing categories or trying to find said member's name when you know exactly whose products you want to browse.

When moving a topic, the Clubs option is quite all over the place. Especially if you have a lot of forums inside a Club. It would be better if they were better organised. Just like the forums tab.

Hello, I'm a photographer, and I would like my members to be able to share images from individual posts to their social sites like Facebook and Twitter. At the moment, all they can do is post a link to the entire topic, which displays a crop of the main banner. That's no use to me, I need them to be able to share individual posts which show the photo rather than the main page banner. I've looked extensively but can't find a way to add share buttons below each post. I know you used to be able to do this many moons ago. Or am I missing something in Admin here? regards

Hello, I need my website to sell, among other products, some that are outsourced/brokered - so basically what I would need to have is an ability to individually specify payment details for each product, so that the supplier of a certain product would get the payment with order details themselves directly. Officially, I need to have it looking like an integral webshop that the Commerce is but to have a text field or a logo added to the description (though it can ultimately be added manually for each product). Hello, Since the data about real name, location, gender and interests is already collected (or can be collected anyway), it would be a good idea to make them auto-populate standard and/or custom fields during the sign up procedure. And perhaps try to implement it for any other login functions as well. Thanks.
