I have noticed a couple of times that when I create a post with an attachment, *sometimes* my next post begins with my previous post, as though it was a saved draft. I can't find a reproducible sequence, and didn't see anyone having the same problem. Anyone else experience something like that?

Hello everyone, Since today all usergroups can't send no new PM's anymore to each other. If you try it says : "You have entered an invalid recipient". Even when the username is correct. Reply to messages/conversations they had already is the only way now to communicate to each other. Someone who can help me with this error?

Hi- My current navigation bar structure uses URL links on some tabs that go directly to specific forums. However when I click on the tab to go to the specific forum, the tab doesn't highlight - however the tab to the main forums application does highlight (or stay highlighted after clicked). Is there any way to have the specified URL in the navigation bar become the highlighted tab and not the main forums index page navigation tab? I don't think that this was an issue with 3.4.7 Many thanks!

Hi, If I wanted a "go to" paid person to help me make changes and help with the design that knows the ips 4.5 software inside and out, where would I find him/her? What is the rate per session/job/hour? How are they paid? Is there a list of designers that has ratings for each since this is shopping for a service? Thanks

I haven't been able to get this to run at all. I never had any previous issues with any of the software installs. After making a backup of my forum and copying the database, I tried copying the files to the respective directory. After it was finished I went to the admin/upgrade I got an error when doing the upgrade routine. Thinking it was something to do with the existing database and files I then created a new database with a new directory and uploaded the files. In the notification area, there is a settings button. I have Admins and Mods selected to receive an email when new content is created. No one is getting any email notification (basically it says to follow automatically). In 3.4 we all received and email when a topic was created. Does this work for anyone else in 4.0? Any advice or setting recommendations?

HI guys, I recently started a forum which has been working fine until 2 days ago, I'm now presented with an error - Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77 bytes) in /home/gamirach/public_html/system/Patterns/ActiveRecord.php on line 107 The website is Gamirachi.com and if you go on there you'll see that message, has anyone got any ideas how to fix this ? thanks in advance.

Can someone guide me how to properly set up friendly URLs on my forum? Whenever I enable he two options in the admin CP it gives me 404 errors on most pages, what does my HTACCESS need to look like to get the pages rewritten properly if a forum lives at http://site.com/boards and I want a main page using Pages at www.site.com please advise. Here is a screenshot, can someone explain how to do this? I'm on shared hosting.

For the bug http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/403-error-when-logging-in-by-facebook-r5685/#comment-157531 Temp fix is - Temporarily fixed this by removing share_item from /system/Login/Facebook.php. However this is not allowed in IPS cloud communities... Not sure when the next version will be released.. and our members cannot sign in using fb untill the new version is released... Hi all, hoping some one can help. When I place a responsive Google ad in the "just above the page footer" position, it messes up the page. Specifically, it widens everything below the menu bar. Interestingly, this occurs in IE but not in Chrome. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. --Casey

I want to reduce the number of Status Updates that show in the Status Update sidebar block. I would prefer to show three. I remember when I ran an IPB board before, I found a way to do this from a skinner, but that skinner is no longer doing anything with IPB. I attached an image with an error screen I get with dev pro when developing. Is this the only error screen that shows? It really sucks not knowing the specific type of error it is. If i refresh the page, I see for a slight second another error page show with actual info then this one covers it up. Why does this error page come up for almost any error?

Hi guys, I'm trying to do a smooth transition to IPS Suite, and something I'm having difficulty figuring out is how to get my sidebar to show an article's image thumbnail rather than the author's avatar. I can see that this code generates the avatar: {template="userPhoto" group="global" app="core" params="$record->author(), 'tiny'"} I assume that I can tweak those attributes to get the image I want, however unlike IP.Board 3.4 I can't see a convenient list of available tokens/variables/fields anywhere. Google really isn't very helpful with IPS Suite (yet), so I'm hoping somebody has a pointer here.

First offf, great idea making this section I've got the following code to pull member data to an external website: global $member; require_once($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/forums/init.php'); \IPS\Session\Front::i(); $member = \IPS\Member::loggedIn(); And it works fine. print_r($member); outputs a lot of useful information. However, I can't seem to find the information for custom profile fields. Where is this located, and how do you pull it?
