Status Updates Sidebar Block

I want to reduce the number of Status Updates that show in the Status Update sidebar block.  I would prefer to show three.  I remember when I ran an IPB board before, I found a way to do this from a skinner, but that skinner is no longer doing anything with IPB.

 

I was wondering if anybody has found a way to do this or not.

Thank you @IN10TION.  That looks likes it's IPB4.  I haven't upgraded to that yet.  I'm currently running 3.4.8.  More and more of what I'm seeing though, I think I might upgrade here sooner than later.
