I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version and get this message: Your license is currently inactive. You will need to renew before you can upgrade. I paid and did renew a few days ago but it's telling me otherwise. I've got an 8 day wait for cs to get back to me on this. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks

What happens with the information from the Custom Profile Field after upgrading from 3.4 to 4.0.5? During the update process the old information from Custom Profile Field are lost or they are transferred / converted into the new version? Thanks for the clarification.

When trying to install the 4.5 version over 4.3 upgrade, I'm getting this error message: Sorry, there is a problem That page does not exist. Error code: 2S100/1 Any ideas? Should I not install 4.5 as there seems to be a few big bugs?

Ok, so on my forum, the Activity Feed on profiles is not displaying recent activity. "See My Activity" is not working either, but if I use a filter like "posts" it works fine but "All Activity" is empty. Am I missing something, or is something wrong with my install? We did convert from XenForo to IPB3.4.7 then to IPB4. Screenshots:

I've got an odd issue (already opened a ticket 915050) but was curious if anyone else had run across this problem before. The WYSIWYG editor is not loading at all. On replies to posts it looks like it attempts to load with the circle constantly spinning however on posting new topics it doesn't load at all (actually any place the editor is loaded). Hello, guys. I'm not starting a riot, just want to hear opnions of what can I do. Bought an APP on marketplace on 7th april called Google CSE Pro http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/6018-hq-google-cse-pro/ to use Google as default search in IPB 3.4.x The app didn't work since day 1... can't get a response from the creator via email, the official topic here or personal message. The installation instructions are pretty straightforward, no trouble here. From you guys, anyone got a problem like these before ? What you guys did to have your money back or the app working ?

What are the suggested file and folder permissions for hosting Invision Power Board 4 on Linux? Want to ensure my shiny new v4 IPB isn't hacked! Hello, I hope I explain this detailed enough but we're having a rather strange issue where when I try and view any of the emails I receive from my forum (quotes, messages, new registrations etc) it freezes my outlook (Office 2013 - office 365 business) and seems to call for the Uploads directory of our forum. I'm sure it'll be permissions issues, but I would have thought they were OK as the installer went through fine. No other emails cause this issue ie viewing twitter emails or normal non forum emails. I've attached a screenshot - hopefully someone can help as it freezes for a good 2-3 minutes before displaying the email. PS - I'm a techie so already tried the whole…

I'm using IPB 4.0.4. When inside the ACP, I receive this error: http://i.imgur.com/z91CncQ.png I can try to navigate around the ACP, but I am met with the same error message when I try to access member accounts, or make changes to the forum.When in the MCP, I receive this error: I can't do anything at all in here.Help would be nice, thanks.

Hello guys, i just bought IPB to improve my forum. I was using mybb now for 2 years, so we have a huge DB with 32.000 members which i dont want to lose. I would like to use IPB 4.0, but the converter only works for 3.x So what can i do now ? install 3.0 and then migrate and then update ? cheers

I am trying to display a single category of a database in a custom HTML page (in Pages), but it doesn't seem to work. I know I need to use {database="1"} to display the database, but {database="1" category="1"} doesn't display the category. I get an error saying that I either cannot have two databases in the same page or that the database is already in use on another page (I use 'database 1' for my blog front page).Is there a way for me to display a specific database category on a custom page?Is there a way to deactivate the 'number of databases on a page' restriction so I can override the warning and save the page with more than one database?

Hi all, Is there a way to recount everything (posts / topics / members etc.) and also to fix any BBCODE issues out within posts / signatures. Seems multiple members have their signatures showing BBCode when it's enabled on the forums and they just have to go into their profile and then save signature again and then it works. But it's a pain for all members which have one. I remember in 3.x.x there was a feature which fixed these issues - I thought it was related to recache. I couldn't find a task for it. Cheers

Hi If I want to create a custom block in Pages to display the latest record from a custom database I appreciate I can use the default widgets for latest records in pages however that always displays the author of the record entry and is not what I want - I want to create a custom one so I can control the layout and content. I created a custom block, and the caching is turned off in the area where the content is. I am updating the content dynamically directly into the database from an update statement. Those changes are not showing. How can I make sure that I see the updated information. If I just hit save in the admin area, it updates, how can this be done automatically.I see it says...If your block contains dynamic elements, such as member data, database counts, etc, you will need to prevent this block from being cached. Anyone know how to make sure that whatever is updated in the database table, that it shows instantly with no caching?

Hi, one of my databases has categories, and the first page has a "Category Articles" style template. Is there anyway of changing the default country from the United States in the address field. My site is based in Australia and would rather it defaulted to Australia. Also is it possible to only allow Australia in the list for Commerce.
