Is it possible to do conditionals in the profile display format based on the option choice of a field. For example, let's say I want to show if a member is verified on their profile. Can you do something in the profile display field like <if $data['pf_content']='Yes'> <strong>{title}:</strong> {content} <else> nbsp; </if>

Alright in IPB 3.4.x we were able to create a slideshow with gallery albums, folders/ category and add them to your page. but I haven't figure it out yet, has any body had the same issue then me, all my previous blocks aren't compatible with the new version i'd like to bring it to how it work before. Thanks!

So I have some widgets on my forum. On the top, gallery recent images, Chat Box, and announcements. Then there's the right side, filled with Recent topics, upcoming events etc. Is there a way for me to make a widget such as Chat Box sized to where the side bar widget is moving the upcoming events down so Chatbox fills the area? Hope this makes sense?

I don't understand how Emoticons are displayed. I currently have 65 of them all in one category, Default. When you click the smiley face a window pops up and first it lists Emoticons I've Used Recently then it says Default, but unless I click the Categories dropdown I only see the first three rows. Can they all be displayed by default?

On my site I keep noticing that random widgets, but more often Latest Topics, keep disappearing. I opened a ticket on this but the staff couldn't reproduce. Has anybody noticed this on their sites?

Hello, I installed a CKEditor plugin through AdminCP (just uploaded the ZIP file). It was just a test of this plugin: http://ckeditor.com/addon/bbcode Then I wanted to uninstall the plugin but I found no option in AdminCP. So I searched the file structure and just deleted the directory applications/core/interface/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/bbcode. But now I can not use the editor anymore. The whole editor disappeared when I click on edit or within the textarea... So how do I manage (uninstall) CKEditor plugins I installed through the AdminCP?

Aloha, The IPB 4 cron task seems to be working well on my server, but it started generating this error about 3-4 weeks ago (it's happening now with IPB 4.0.7 & PHP 5.4.34): "Failed loading opcache.so: opcache.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" It's not surprising to me that opcache.so isn't loading -- since Zend opcache was never installed on my server. What i'm wondering is: What could be causing the IPB cron task to load (or attempt to load) opcache.so when it was never installed? I searched the IPB 4.0.7 files for "opcache" and got the following results. All I see is "opcache_reset" called if "function_exists('opcache_r…

Hello, how can I disable some HTML-Tags? Or better: I just want to allow some of them with a whitelist? It seems BBCodes are gone now, but I don't want that users can change font type or background color of posts. I can change view permission of the button but this does not disable the HTML code itself. Everyone can write and style within Word/Office and copy all the format styles into the post.

I have notice how good is ips4 with languages right now, you can translate so many areas that is perfect. But my question here is if it is possible to post events in the calendar in different languages? I have a automobile forum and I would like to use the calendar to include the motorshows around the world, so it would be very nice to put something like: So everything will be ok for every user with different languages (title, dates, image, location) except the description of the event that should be different for spanish people, german, french, italian... Is this option possible? If not any alternative different to post 6 times the same event just to change the descript…

Hello, I installed IPS4 and noticed the chat runs not on my server (something like ips-chat-service.com). I did not know that a core feature depends on a (from the view of my visitors and me) 3rd party server/service. How can I run the chat on my own server only? I try to run a very anonymously site (only strict tls connection, no server logs, no analytics, no ip logging at all...). To pass the chat traffic/content through another server is no option for me. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. But when I clicked on "MONTH" category, it shows this. However, all others work normal. Like Week, Year, and All Time. Is there any fix to this? The link to my new forums is www.br-forums.com Please help.

Anyone else encounter this so far? Upgraded from 4.06.1... No errors. AdminCP is completely blank after logging in. Deleted files in datastore. Still blank. Submitted critical ticket as my board is currently in offline mode for the upgrade. (won't do that again) Ticket 917293

On my board the emails do not display on iphones. I'd like to create a page which shows the records from a certain database. However, when clicking the title of one of these records, I want the user to be directed to a specific forum post instead of the record content. It would be perfect if I could submit that forum post link whilst creating a record, the same way I'd add the title et cetera. Is there a way of doing this? Cheers!

Hi, I just bought IPB and I got the following questions: Is the Dutch language available for IP.Board (and their addons) 4.x?Is there a membership plugin/addon to charge forum members for access to certain forums? After upgrade from 4.0.6.1 to 4.0.7: It seems that the link to login and signup was removed when viewing from mobile device. Also, from the admin CP the forums->categories/sub-categories could not be reordered anymore.
