I tried to enable SSL by going to System > Settings > Login Handlers > Login Settings. The switch to enable SSL is grayed out and i am unable to press it, however when i hover over a certain portion of text it tells me that the subject name does not match the target host name. I assume the problem is because i have a custom domain (forums.domain.com), but i have no idea how to fix this. My second issue i encountered while trying to install a plugin, the Sign in through Steam plugin. Mugenfreeforall.com has been dealing with this bug for quite a long time at this point. This thing has resisted the efforts of IPS tech support, Bluehosts tech support, our on-staff coder and myself. Evening guys. On my old vbulleitn board in the forum settings there was an option to not display a forum, but it could still be visited if the location was known. Does such a setting exist on IPS as I can't find it? Thanks

I have 2 installations. On the first one i'm able to get in that 'create' dialog a direct link to create a page from a page database. For some reason it doesn't show there in my second installation. What should I set for the page creation link of a particular db to appear here?

I want to put start to put ads on the sides of my live streams that members have on my server. I cant find the right place using the ad key, to put the add to make it show on both sides...i will show a picture I may have the wrong look on how to do this, can someone tell me what i need to make this happen?? i know i have to go into the theme css, but i can't seem to make the ad show on both sides, but on top and bottom

Hi all, I am creating an external page that pulls the member data from the database, that is no problem. I need to create a logout link on this external page but am unable to do this as I do not know how to get the current (logged in) members CSRF Key. So when I point the link to forum/logout/ I get the The CSRF protection key did not match, error page. Does anyone know how I can get the CSRF key data to be able to log the user out please? Good afternoon, Just wondering if it is possible to restrict access to guests, so they cannot view a members profile, or see status updates within the "All Activity" stream. We would lock guest access down completely, but it prevents them from viewing content within pages. Any suggestions? Regards, ClubCuddly.

I want to add some Adsense blocks to my IPB blogs. I was hoping that 4.2 would allow me to automatically put Ads in blogs, but it doesn't look like that is an option. So is the only way to manually add the Adsense code into each blog post?

I need some help here. I am running 3.1.4 and need to get it running correctly after moving hosts. Everything appears to be working great EXCEPT for any file/image uploads. Hello, I had to move my domain to another hosting and almost everything went well. Almost, because after moving the files and the database to the new location, when I tried to access the forum it gives me this error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting ')' in home/site/public_html/site/forums/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php on line 57 I reuploaded the whole system folder from the backup, but same story. Can anyone gimme some help on this? If it counts, I moved from a virtual machine where I had ftp and ssh access to a CPanel hosting

I am currently using an IPB demo board with the intention of upgrading my older board to the 4 version. I would like to know how to make the "content" area as wide as the top banner/header. I have set the "fluid" width to 100%, 150%, 250% and no change whatsoever. Anyone care to share how this is done? Thanks

Hey all, Any thoughts on why I'd get an Error 500 when changing from 5.6.30 to 7.0.17? I tried to do it, and that's what happened. Okay, on further digging, turns out that 7.0.17 has issues with how mysqli works, and is fixed in 7.0.18
