I'm attempting to use the REST API to have a member follow a forum topic, using the API found here: https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api?endpoint=core/members/POSTitem_follows As part of my integration tests, I am successfully able to create a member and a topic. I can't find the bug tracker anymore, but we just upgraded to 4.6 and now the buttons are missing in the app marketplace. Example below of a free theme. Edit to clarify: The button to purchase or upgrade the app is missing from the small, empty rectangular box above "Resource Information"

We don't even have achievements enabled yet but the member titles of those who never edited them have all changed to "Newbie" which isn't great, but now I am wondering if when I enable them, everyone is started at zero, or are rules from previous contributions (now achievements) applied to the member accounts? For example there are rules for every 10th follower of an account, we have accounts with tens of followers, will that achievement get immediately applied then? And we have accounts with more than 500 posts, so does that achievement get applied too? I want to be sure what starting platform we have here, because although there is a ACP page that shows how ma…

Just out of curiosity because I'm not aware, after a developer submits an update to their app or plugin in the marketplace, how long does it take for IPS to approve it and for it to be live? Is it different for plugins vs apps? New vs update? I'm following two apps which are not yet available for 4.6 but the developers stated within their support topics that they submitted them last week. I'm just trying to level set my expectations and plan for upgrading some communities.

Hi, I'm using the 4 required nameservers with Invision, with the domain registered through GoDaddy. I'm not self-hosting. If I add the 2 required nameservers from Cloudflare in GoDaddy's settings, will it break the site? Would it be better to purchase an SSL from GoDaddy themselves and point the IP to Invision, rather than messing with nameservers? Thanks.

Hi, How do we disabled social 'Profile photo synced' from displaying in All Activity stream? When social login updating or synchronizing user profile picture. Hello, We are currently updating our forum. We are doing this upgrade manually, but the error "Duplicate column name 'status_author_id' " occurred during the process. Does anyone know what this is due to? If so, what should we do to fix it? Thank you in advance for your reply

Hi all. Since 4.6, I have a weird issue in my profile pages. When you access a profile, while you are logged in or not, and have tried it on various browsers, and I have confirmation from one other board that they have the same problem... the sidebar on the left does not appear. Hit refresh and it appears, every time. Note that we've tried with all apps disabled and on an unaltered dev board. Anyone else? Thoughts where to look? Bug? Thx.

Hello, We've recently upgraded to Invision Community v4.6.4 and have a veteran member of our community reporting they are unable to login on their main home computer. They did successfully login on two work computers. I am running a custom theme mdPanel and have upgraded that as well. I have also instructed them to clear caches, clear cookies and site history. I've also cleared system cache in Admin. They're restarted their computer and the error is always the same, "Something went wrong. Please try again". Error 2S119/1. I'm hoping this is only an isolated incident but concerned more users could be seeing this and just not contacting us. Any idea on the issue? …

We upgraded from 4.5 to 4.6.4 this past weekend and all posts including notifications now have absolute date and time instead of "Posted x mins ago". I tried looking for a setting relating to how dates and times are shown in the ACP but can't find anything related. I also asked one of our developers what it could be and he doesn't know. For example, the top notification should say "57 mins ago". Anyway I hope someone knows what it could be and can help us out, our community is at www.neowin.net/forum

Friends i bought the base IPS last week and installed it and i have it all setup and running with new members and content. I went today and purchased the Blog, Pages, Gallery and Downloads applications. My question is, how do i install them on a running site ? I redownloaded the entire suite, do i upload it and add them that way or will i lose what i have already ?

Hello, A while back I started a thread about this, but it never really went anywhere. We got broadsided by spammers and there's literally thousands of messages in the queue before we realized and setup a filter / block. Selecting all, only selects all on that page and doesn't select across pagination. Can you please supply a solution, if even it's just a MySQl query to delete all requests when email matches xx or delete all requests when subject matches xx? That being said, since you do have a nifty filter feature it would be amazing if selecting all filtered results actually selected all results and not just the ones displayed on that page. I've gone ahead and changed all of the database tables to InnoDB for all of the IPS tables but the Support tool still complains that my third-party marketplace apps are still using MyISAM. After reviewing some of these tables I see that the developers use a combination of InnoDB and MyISAM in their apps. If you choose to change over to InnoDB for the IPS Suite should one also change all of the third-party database tables for consistency? Will there be any problems created by doing so?
