I don't work at IPS (despite that cute cartoon avatar I have), so I'm able to tell you that you're doing it wrong. You should never have been editing the default CSS files, and it's unfortunate that the product allowed it all this time.
I assure you, you can do everything you did before. It'll be even better than before, actually, because it won't break on every upgrade.

Currently using the Carousel module there is an option to start a slideshow using data-ipsCarousel-slideshow but the timer itself is hardcoded to 4 seconds in the javascript file \dev\js\framework\common\ui\ips.ui.carousel.js:
var slideshowTimeout = 4000; Since this is a module there's no way to create a mixin for it as it's only for controllers. (Or is it possible to use a mixin on a module? Even if it is, because of the place the timer is in, there's no way to override its value though.)
 
Can you add support for overriding the timer with a new option like this one?
data-ipsCarousel-timer='3000'  

@Andy Millne what about Elasticsearch the available version now is 8.4.2, yet IPS 4.7.2.1 still cannot run anything more than 7.0 version less than 8.0. 

Don't give them any more bright ideas! 🤯

Fixed issue. In my database that had this issue, the "Allow searching" option was disable. Now I enable it on and it's already OK - no issue.
But, I think this is a BUG - when "Allow searching" is disable, the div class
<div data-role="fileList" class="ipsComposeArea_attachmentsInner ">
is hidden, which is incorrect

The editor saves anything you type down if you close or refresh the page, and then it will show you a bar says "Your previous content has been restored.   Clear editor". This button Clear editor works everywhere but on Moderator CP > Reported Content comments. 
 

I have topics been marked as solved, yet none of them were really solved. For example, this bug reported it since Feb this year and marked as solved after 2 months in May, yet after 8 months it hasn't been resolved in any feature released. 
 

Hi, due the Quotes ability facilitate to start to comment, and comment is key to keep members engaged... 
Please consider add that ability into pages as soon as possible too. 

Absolutely agree, hiding the CSS templates is ridiculous! It was like a live, instant reference, so useful and tbh having realised, I'm unwilling to update the last of my live sites. Having to enter and exit designers mode is no good, it's slow, clunky, buggy, and you even advise us not to do it on live sites. Who in their right mind would do that when they need to make some quick changes to custom css templates or look up some css to refresh their memory?
By all means, remove edit permissions if you absolutely must, but what's the harm in leaving the templates read only and searchable?

I just marked 4.7.x compaitable and set the plugin for free to use 🙂 
 

Many communities these days are using more than one theme Dark and Light ones. Not all the themes have Dark and Light toggles in the same theme such as @ehren. themes or your own themes, so we do have two different themes for the Light and Dark. 
On Pages app under "PAGE MANAGEMENT" > Pages you can override the theme only with one option. 
 

It would be nice if this option can be changed to multiple options instead of only one in order to override the theme with two themes Dark and Light ones.
 

I think I allowed to say this: This 4.7.2 from beta to release is somehow rushed and almost as a alpha released, sorry IPS, but it look like that.
I know it a hard word, but really, I am running this on a test site, wonder how other feels whom done this on their live sites.
I know IPS trying as hard as they could to fix all the matters in this release.

Support for a prefix was added in the template \applications\core\dev\html\global\forms\number.phtml but the code to display the prefix is checking the wrong variable on line 5:
{{if \is_string( $suffix )}} {$prefix|raw} {{endif}}  
The IF should check $prefix rather than $suffix:
{{if \is_string( $prefix )}} {$prefix|raw} {{endif}}
