Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

For others, this requires the country prefix, so ensure this is added. I have however opened a bug report to see if we can validate this better

As mentioned by my colleague, a bug report has been added for this. We cannot guarantee a version a bug fix will be in

I have reported this internally. However, I don't think you want them to index the expand truncated quote link anyway so likely this will be altered 😉 . Ultimately, it's not hurting you or helping you but definitely something we should review.

Yes that should do it, but it's also possible that column may also contain data for other payment gateways.

Are you using an “app specific password”?  Your regular login will be rejected by Google.

As Marc said, you have to upload those files via FTP to your server.
Ignore that "Install Application" popup. It's not what you need right now. You use that only when you have a TAR file to install/update single applications. IPS doesn't provide individual TAR files for their applications.

No, you would be uploading files via FTP. Not via the admin CP. I have to be honest here and say I really really would advise getting someone to assist you with actually doing this if you are unsure, as you can break your site. It also may be worth at taking a look at our cloud solution rather than self hosted, if you are not sure on hosting of your site

This is actually an admin permission ( Can manage archive settings )
I have raised an internal suggestion to separate this for the frontend and move it to the mod permissions.

When you say old Stripe account.. when you switched did you update the payment gateway credentials or create a new payment gateway?
If it was the first then there will be referential data already stored on your community specific to the old account.

Question and Answer forum mode does not exist in v5, it has been replaced by better solving tools and notifications such as this feature.

It is scary, we had the exact same thing. During the NFL Draft on an NFL fan site. Very frustrating we never had problems on classic hosting. Now we are paying much more and it seems like there are always problems on big traffic days.

Thanks to Support for dealing with this issue. As a bit of a digital dunce I can’t help but wonder exactly what happened? Anyhow, everything seems to be back to normal on my Board. I’m sure the Support team understands Board owners/admins and moderators frustration when they go down. These Discussion Forums/Suites etc are very important to the owners and as much if not more so to the Members. Mine was launched in 2002. And I still have charter Members who have been active for 22 years. Many freak out when they can’t get on Board.

MP3 and other audio files supported by browsers can be embedded in topics and played by the browser. The same goes for MP4 and other video files.

You will want to read through the whole topic, as it discusses how spammers are logging into accounts which have had credentials compromised through other sites and posting spam on yours. Enabling Two Factor Authentication is the best way to combat this for the future. You may also wish to use the force password reset function, which is also discussed in that topic, on all members if you see this happening a ton.

Why is the button still in the old colors? 🙂 It should be black with an X icon.
