It's worth mentioning that the location filter (Topic) and the milestone filter (1000th post) are optional, so you can reward people N points every single time they post.
It's up to you.

Thanks @SUBRTX - that's at least a step in the right direction, which is great news.
However, as I've just posted over in the comments on that link, I don't think it's been thought through very well.
Here's what I posted over there.
========================
I just had a closer read of it and and whilst it is a step in the right direction, I still don't think it's amazing.
Most people that use these notifications will still want to be notified when one of their posts is quoted by someone else.
But no-one wants to be notified when their post get a like/reaction.
So, keeping "quoted" and "reactions" bundled into a single option is a mistake in my opinion.
I feel like "quotes" should either be bundled with "replies / mentions" or setup as it's own option.
To be honest - for the best granularity - IMHO all 4 options should be separate.
I.e.
- REPLIES [ON / OFF]
- MENTIONS [ON / OFF]
- QUOTES [ON / OFF]
- REACTIPONS [ON / OFF]

SeNioR- got a reaction from Edjazoli in Lazy loading for Profile Photos
@Gabriel Torres
What if someone comes in from a browser that doesn't support Lazy Loading? Pictures will not be displayed at all? Have you checked?
Safari is second in the ranking by statcounter.com with almost 20% of global market share so it cannot be completely ignored.

Have you considered introducing Lazy Loading for Profile Photos? This would help with page loading speed, If someone uses GIF or a lot of weighty pictures.

Thanks for sharing that.
I know there are a bunch of cache updates slated for our next release. Glad to see in that topic you posted above there was an answer 🙏

@Gabriel TorresI turned on RocketLoader a month ago. There is a readable difference in loading speed, I recommend it to anyone! So far no problems. Additionally, I turned on HTML compression to get rid of those ulgy spaces from the document source. A month of testing, and so far everything is fine. 👍
Unfortunately, it is impossible to avoid all errors and warnings in PageSpeed Insights.
Everyone knows that on a simple HTML page anyone can get 100 score, but IPS is a complex software and there is no chance to get 100 🙂 I see that you squeezed a lot anyway, good job 👍

@xtechSo far, I am not seeing any improvement, as the main issue, which is the LCP, is still present. As mentioned in my original post, Google made a major change in its algorithm in the beginning of december, which is really hurting us. We used to get around 140k users per day from Google, since then we are getting around 115k. This is hurting our revenue tremendously. I am still working on this, though. Every couple of days I fix something here or there. I am very persistent and I will get to the bottom of this and will eventually fix this LCP issue! 🙂
In any case, this has been a good opportunity to fix a lot of other things that could be improved anyway! 🙂

Hello,
This plugin doesn't appear to function with the newest version of the forum software.
It won't let me input anything, nor can I click on anything.

SeNioR- reacted to Gabriel Torres in Multiple-resolution logo images
Hello,
I am in the process of optimizing our install with the help with Google's Lighthouse, and trying to improve our score in that tool.
Today I succesfuly worked on a issue that I suggest IPS to address in an upcoming release: multiple-resolution logo images.
Here is the warning that we got using lighthouse:
Following the suggestions decribed here: https://web.dev/serve-responsive-images/ and here: https://web.dev/codelab-density-descriptors/, I decided to create three logo images for our install at sizes 460x77 (1x), 920x154 (2x), and 1380x280 (3x). I uploaded them to a new folder (/uploads/logos/), and adjusted the HTML code at the core > front > global > logo template to:
<a href='{setting="base_url"}' id='elLogo' accesskey='1'><img src="{$logo}" srcset="/uploads/logos/logo-cdh-1x.png 1x, /uploads/logos/logo-cdh-2x.png 2x, /uploads/logos/logo-cdh-3x.png 3x" sizes="460px" alt='{setting="board_name" escape="true"}'></a> Note: I uploaded the 1x version as the logo in the template's settings page.
After this change, our logo looks much crispier and also we got rid of the above warning. In fact, our "Best Practices" score inscreased from 86 to 93! 🙂
I really hope that this helps other administrators who are looking into ways to improve their community's performance, and I hope IPS can make adjustments to fix the recommendations presented by Lighthouse to improve the overall score of our websites.
Enjoy! 🙂
Gabriel.
