Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

You can get to the support section by selecting support in the top right of your admin CP. In terms of the other 3rd party application, you would need to contact the author of that application for assistance -

Im not sure why your hosting company would provide you with that answer. PHP sessions need to be able to be stored by the software. This is a hosting function (its part of the PHP setup itself).

There is no way in which to limit individual subscriptions to only specific people. You can however limit the section as a whole by using module permissions. https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/security-and-rules/member-permissions-r305/#perm_modules

The software would not check that to see if they are a spammer on changing email. If they are already a member, it would be assumed that user is not a spammer

There is no way in which to disable this at the present time (nor in version 5). You could change the default layout if you wanted to? This can be done from Community>Events>Settings. Feel free to post this up as a request within our feedback area, if you wish to see changes in this area in the future

Next to any setting there is a cog icon for copying that setting elsewhere. That would work only on the group itself though.

You can create your blocks in the admin CP, and create those with permissions as custom blocks. This way you can pick and choose which blocks show to which groups as neeeded
