  1. Indeed, I've used that strategy myself in the past. Also doing things like reducing what they can post as new members can be helpful
  2. It is indeed possible thats what is causing this one. Please let us know
  3. Thank you for the link there. With the link you sent me, Im actually seeing the cat and Im not logged in
  4. Sorry to hear that is the case. Its simply a timing issue here. The chances of this happening are very very very remote. I would say however, there should have been no need to restore. You should always upload a fresh set of files if you get that issue. If you couldnt get rid of the issue by uploading a fresh set of files, then that wasnt actually your problem
  5. It is indeed on the hCAPTCHA site itself you are looking. You could certainly do that if needed. For example adding *.gmail.com would ban anyone with a gmail.com email. It would probably be worth doing the hCAPTCHA settings first and then monitor first
  6. You didnt mention if you increased hCAPTCHAs sensitivity to spammers. Did you also do this? Also ensure you have your mark as spam settings set to report back to us. This will help us to then prevent spam.
  7. Quite simply they are manually registering and not known spammers (even to hCaptcha it seems). We are seeing a substantial uptick lately in spammers at present. Bear in mind the spam defence service can only flag as a known spammer, if indeed there is something on that account to show it as being known.
  8. If you are upgrading to the latest beta, you have unfortunately upgraded at the same minute as a release. So its downloaded the files, and then checked against the latest (which has now changed). Please upload a fresh set of files from your client area, and test this again.
  9. Unfortunately, we do not allow the transfer of licenses, as per EULA. You can sell the site content of course, but they would need their own license
  10. You can adjust archive settings from Community>Forum>Settings>Archiving. Anything outside of that setting will be unarchived
  11. Got o System>Site Features>Applications in your admin CP. It looks like you have disabled the forums application
  12. We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  13. Just to add, you need to use clear URL before you do any redirects from www once you have changed it. If you have any problem just let us know
  14. Glad to hear things are now running as you expect 🙂
  15. hCaptcha is actually the most effective, rather than keyCaptcha. Especially if put in the higher settings. Looking at your system, you dont have all methods switched on at present. You should add some question and answer items. Ensuring you add questions which your potential members would answer easily, but would not be answered easily by a bot. For example, if you put something like "What is 2+2" its likely a bot will breeze through that. Add a few of these.
  16. Please provide a link to that item and I can certainly take a look for you

  18. No, you wouldnt have to do anything on your end. It submits to google and bing
  19. Please check your conf_global.php file, and ensure if you are using https on the server, you also have your address set to https there. If thats not the cause, please update your access details on file for the new server, and we can get this looked into
  20. Ah, the issue there is the htaccess you have in place. You would need to ensure any connections to the following location are whitelisted from any IP or password authentication /index.php?app=core&module=system&controller=marketplace
  21. It is indeed. This requires functions only available on the cloud platform
  22. No problem at all. Glad to hear you have that sorted
  23. You would upload a fresh set of files from your client area. Once you have done this, you will see blog available to install from System>Site Features>Applications 🙂
