Current Happenings
New Version
Our June release is out and ready for you to upgrade your community. Following that, we released a version including security fixes. As you know, we recommend that you keep your community up to date to remain secure, keep it running smoothly, and so you can enjoy the latest updates.
Review the release notes to see what is included in the June release, version 4.7.11 and upgrade to the latest version 4.7.11.1 if you have not already.

Our June release chat took place on Wednesday. Thank you to those who joined, asked questions and conversed in the chat! Catch the video and discussion in the converted topic.
Finally, for those that like to see what we are up to line by line, here is the changelog for the week for version 4. Changes are limited for now as we focus attention on version 5. More information will be shared about version 5 at a future date.

Stuart Silvester got a reaction from PatrickRQ in Issue with PayPal/MaxMind after last 2-3 updates where you touched PayPal/MaxMind code, 4.7.10
We were able to see some other logs and identified the issue. It's specifically related to a customer having their card/payment declined by PayPal then trying to execute the same transaction again.
We'll make some changes for a future release, but they still won't be able to purchase if their payment is being declined.

This update fixed the problem on my forum where the TOS footer was being shown to guests even after they had accepted the TOS.

This should also be listed in Release Notes -> Changes affecting third-party developers and designers.
It would avoid us to look for in core files when our resources stop working.

A cookie to control colour would probably not be deemed to be 'essential' any way, so be careful not just to specify all cookies in this method because that won't make sense.
When the new Cookie Consent system is enabled, non-essential cookies will not be set unless the end-user has opted in to them. There are a few issues currently with 4.7.11 where some of the JS cookies may be getting blocked if the Cookie Consent is not enabled. We're working on fixes for the reported issues.

It looks like this is due to the translated strings on the buttons being too long for the space available. We'll see what we can do although I do want to avoid the cookie banner overlaying the entire screen on mobile.

Make sure that you have TLS 1.2 enabled for incoming connections, we're not able to connect due to this.

We're adding this (needed for forum passwords). Use a * at the end of the cookie name in that method ( I.e. ipbforumpass_* ). Will only work for PHP set cookies.

On the Subscription Plans page, there's a settings button in the top right (or it may be under a 'more options' menu depending on the size/orientation of your iPad).

We've just pushed out a patch that should address these issues with appearing to be logged out on first visit.
Please apply it from AdminCP > System > Get Support - In the 'Invision Community' box, you'll see an optional patch (if applicable to your community).
