Yea, a separate app for pages app is already finished and being tested should be released later today
I havent tested it but it should. Just buy and test it ? since this product has no renewal fees, it doesn't matter if you buy it today or in weeks once you upgrade to 4.2

Oh, excellent. I'm going to keep an eye on this.
It'd be great to see it work for databases -- I'd even pay for a separate app to do such a thing.

Judging by what was said above. Seems like this app + Commerce = what Patreon does. Although I'm mostly guessing.

I haven't had the time to test my plugins/apps with 4.2 yet unfortunately (yeah I know, it's been a while already lol).
I'll see if I can find some time on Sunday (tomorrow I'm away) or next week before I go away for vacation.

We have released a very early version of 2.2.0 here:) This version is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH IPS 4.2
Let us know what you think about it:)
Changes: Almost ALL the things...
We'll release a full change history with the gold release. This one is really only a preview version to show what we were working on in the last months.

API Integration
As part of the release, a new feature has been added to integrate custom notifications using REST and PHP API. This allows advanced admins and coders to programmatically create custom notifications through this app. More instructions are available on the Marketplace description.
About Custom Notifications
Custom Notifications adds a powerful yet easy feature for admins to generate their own inline notifications, which behave like native IPS notifications. Admins can write and send as many custom notifications as they like, and basic options like authorship and link help enhance the behavior of the notifications.

Simon Woods got a reaction from Cyboman in Member Lists Pro
Hi! I've been testing this out and am very happy with it so far. Once my lists go public I'll link to them in this topic.
I have a couple of feature requests:
The option to copy topic-view styling for profile fields. For example, URL field types display as the url even when the output is styled otherwise. Also, I'm not sure if this is more complicated than copying the topic-view or just the same but support for topic-views made by other third-party items would be great. For example: Dropdown Grouped Profile Fields. Sub-lists. In the ACP, move lists to park them inset of other lists. This then outputs as a list that is accessible via a button in the description of the 'master' list, which when selected causes the 'sub-list' to appear, rather than go to a separate page. -

I think you can be disappointed because Adriano is a fantastic dev, but you can't say "customers get shafted" indirectly accusing me and Adriano.
So think positive and collaborate it's in my interests to make the app functional and keep selling it in the future, otherwise I would have thrown money for nothing.
Regards.

If it didn't works out for you, you can:
1 - try to solve your issue with the dev
2 - try a solution with marketplace moderator
3 - if none above works, submit a ticket to IPS management team.

Ah. Yeah, makes sense. Much better to have existing customers test out betas. Although, I don't speak for Adriano or anything so he might clarify the situation the next time he gets the opportunity to do so.

You're right!
The current system is quite limited.
I have changed this in 2.2. The next version will introduce "project managers" which will have the power to assign issues to members.
They'll also be the one which will get notifications once an issues due date was reached and if the bug wasn't fixed / feature wasn't implemented. They'll also have more tabs and features on the overview page
The recent release was quite of "pushed" by some other members here, I don't disagree that it's kind of half baked and that some features are limited... But we thought that's it better to have a half backed solution which will be improved later, then nothing...
Trust me, there's a lot yet to be announced coming in 2.2 and it will feel more like a 3.0 then a 2.2. release
