For forums, I can choose to disable the increase in content counts.
I can't find a similar option for clubs and is even more important there, especially for private clubs.
Please add such an option. Or is it already there, and I just haven't found it yet?
Thanks,

put the advert in between the first and second post in the threads.
Yes, that is also my intended position. And also in forum view between first and second post.
Does this work with the plugin, @Michael.J? And could you please set up a demo for me or all of us? Thanks.

It is about ownership of data. Some blogs in my community are quite personal (a kind of diary) and many of the users are no tech experts and would prefer a simple solution to take their content with them, if they decide to leave one day.
Can you move the topic to the suggestions area, please?
-
Thank you. Then I suggest offering a way to export blog entries in the future.

Hello,
How can a user export all of his blog entries?
Allow RSS exports in settings is activated.
Thanks,

If you would like I would be happy to setup a demo so you can see this in operation?
This would be great. Thank you for your prompt response.

@MataVirgenes and @David Bryce: Is this working now for you?

What about blogs? That is the primary use case I have in mind and was asked for by my users.

My point exactly - when people see a search box they just type in what they're looking for and really don't pay attention to whatever filters have been automatically applied
I agree. People are used to Google or YouTube. They just type something in and expect to get relevant results.

Or (and in my opinion even better) make it default to search everywhere. If you get too many results, you can then narrow the search in the next step.

Hello,
I do regular streams on Twitch. Please add Twitch under General Configuration/Social Profiles.

Blogs in my community are public, and I know there is a setting for users to make them private and only allow users on a list to see them.
But some users would like to have a blog that is not public for guests and search engines, but for all users who have logged in.
Can you please add such a setting in a future release? Blogs are an important part of my community, there are more than 1000 of them.
Thanks,

It took me longer to read and understand what I just read.

I think about starting a “Chat” topic. The live topic feature would be great for this.
Will it be possible to switch regular topics into live topics later, when the feature becomes available? Or will this only be possible for new threads?
-
Is this for all Cloud-Customers? I don't have a message in my AdminCP or on my site so far.

Feature request: Please tell us in advance, that during the maintenance period there may be a loss of data so that we can announce this to our users and close the community for this time, until everything works fine again. Thanks.
Some of my users don't write just short forum posts, but blog entries they spend literally hours on and if that work is lost, they will probably go somewhere else with their content, where their data is safe.
-
I also did not have any notice in my AdminCP.
And some content that was written during the day is lost. This way, I will lose trust of my community – and in IPS.
Is there a backup of the lost content, and can it be replaced?

Yes, same here. ☹

GDPR is not a cookie law
It's not that simple – and it's not only about GDPR, but also about the Digital Services Act and other Laws and Regulations concerning ePrivacy.

I am a cloud customer and would like to see a page impression count in the ACP with a history, too. Even more, since many page impressions are not counted by Google Analytics anymore because it is blocked by my user consent system.

There is a plugin for this for forum topics. I use it and it works fine:
Perhaps it could be expanded to forums/categories? Build-in would be even better, of course.
Cloud: Accidentally deleted a forum – can you restore it?

I moved a sub-forum from one category to another. In this category, there was another sub-forum with the same name that forwarded to the first. I am quite sure I deleted the forwarding forum (double-checked), but the original forum was deleted. Would it be possible to restore it?
