    IPCommerceFan got a reaction from PPlanet in Help with SLQ Query to replace emoji
    That should work, however I would verify by testing on a single post first.
    After REPLACE(), add WHERE pid = 1234;   (post ID of a post that contains the emoji you're replacing)

    Well, you have options depending upon your comfort level.
    The simplest solution for most of our clients is to create a PNG image twice the size of your logo (as @Joy Rex just alluded to) and upload that as your logo in the theme. You may or may not need to tinker with some size settings or CSS to ensure the logo displays at the height you want.
    If you're comfortable with CSS and HTML (and our theme manager), you could upload separate regular and 2x sized images using the Manage Theme Resources tool, and then manually reference them in the template correctly (using srcset and sizes attributes).
    Or if you understand SVGs well enough, you could upload those and reference those in the template as well, just the same.
    Basically you have two routes:
    The easy route is to just upload a logo image using the built in uploader The longer route that gives you more control is to manually upload your files to the manage resources page, and then adjust the logo template accordingly

    I believe that a more descriptive title would help the community of the board.
    If everyone does the same we will have "ugh" "yay" "wow" titles which help no other people which may have the same problems.

    Edit:
    After some more testing working my way back version for version, it would seem like 4.5 supports up to elasticsearch 7.6.2. Every release above throws the errors in the original post.

    if the application / plugin was uninstalled, you should drop the column. If the application / plugin data should remain in the database, I would suggest to just set a default value for this field.

    Pricing will be $45 on purchase then $15/4months as renewal term.
    The marketplace approval depends on the staff, I've already submitted a version yesterday, they were pretty quick, but I there were some things I did miss. I have submitted the final version just now, so if they move as quick as the first review and I have no more mistakes, it will be here pretty soon.

    Hi, it's nearly there, I just was caught with some other stuff and went back to it this past week, I meant to write you an update, but I was just closer and closer to get something for you guys and wanted to focus on the work to finish before anyone asks, but looks like you got to me first 😅

    We have an open bug report to look into the originally reported issue. I can't promise yet that your use case will be covered (because you're using a custom third party plugin on the current version which changes the default behavior), however we did confirm that it appears the ACP preference may not always work as expected which we'll fix.
    We would have had to add a column to the members table, and we try to avoid doing that unless absolutely necessary. The table can be huge.

    IPCommerceFan reacted to AA15 in Why to deprecate Memcache in IPS 4.5?
    Hi @bfarber
    That makes perfect sense to me, but I also understand @Lucas James. In my experience, hosts don't know how to install or config redis. They have experience with solutions like memcache and to get it to play well with cPanel.
    Is it possible for the Invision team to please create a tutorial on the best way to install and configure the latest version of redis specifically for Invision? And if possible to get it working with cPanel? I think this would take care of some hardships as we would be able to give our hosts documentation for them to follow and get our Invision Suite working efficiently with redis.

    Just wanted to let you know, progress in being made, but changed the way I'm working on this as I didn't like how it was going. It will be a separate app, opposite to the initial way I tried to do this as a nexus extension.

    Thanks @Adriano Faria IMO there should be a setting for that, just like we have a setting ("Allow searching") on Pages to enable/disable each database from being searcheable.

    When you get a notification it may be by Email and Notification center however if you navigate thru email and read it or just go to the content directly and read it the notification still remains un-read. When you read content something should update notification as read.
    Also if you get notifications for pending approval of content if another mod/admin has already address the action then it should update that original notification as READ and append  "Matt Approved Post"

    IPCommerceFan reacted to Adriano Faria in help with the correct way of adding javascript to an app
    See this other example I have in the Upcoming Events widget from Calendar app. It will add a countdown:

    ;( function($, _, undefined){ "use strict"; ips.controller.register( 'rsvpevents.front.widget.eventcountdown', { initialize: function() ... Then I added the attributes to the Calendar template via template plugin:
    /* !Hook Data - DO NOT REMOVE */ public static function hookData() { return array_merge_recursive( array ( 'upcomingEvents' => array ( 0 => array ( 'selector' => 'div.ipsWidget_inner > div.ipsPad_half > ul.ipsDataList.ipsDataList_reducedSpacing > li.ipsDataItem.ipsClearfix > div.ipsDataItem_main.cWidgetComments', 'type' => 'add_inside_end', 'content' => '{{if \IPS\Settings::i()->rsvpevents_display_countdown}} {template="eventCountdown" group="widget" location="front" app="rsvpevents" params="$event"} {{endif}} {template="eventAttendees" group="widget" location="front" app="rsvpevents" params="$event"}', ), 1 => array ( 'selector' => 'div.ipsWidget_inner', 'type' => 'add_attribute', 'attributes_add' => array ( 0 => array ( 'key' => 'data-controller', 'value' => 'rsvpevents.front.widget.eventcountdown', ), ), ), ), ), parent::hookData() ); } And then I call the JS, also via pluin, in the init() of the widget:
    /** * Initialize this widget * * @return void */ public function init() { if( \IPS\Settings::i()->rsvpevents_display_countdown ) { \IPS\Output::i()->jsFiles = array_merge( \IPS\Output::i()->jsFiles, \IPS\Output::i()->js( 'front_widget.js', 'rsvpevents', 'front' ) ); } parent::init(); } Will result in:

    Those interested in early testing let me know, it will come with a discount for those helping the development process, once I figure out the price of this integration.

    Well said. I agree that having it directly in our IPB sites would be incredible. I have the Auto Drip campaign app as well, and there's an option to send an automated email campaign after a member purchased a product. That right there is SUPER amazing. I was never able to figure that process out with Shopify + Printful + Mail Chimp. It was too messy.
    I'm trying not to get my hopes up about this IPB + Printful application haha. But I would be super thrilled to have it and I know many of us would, too. 🙏
    I am in no rush for 4.5 just yet because I want to get all the testing / app / plugins updated before switching, so hopefully there's a 4.4 option available. Ok, now I'm reaching for the moon 😂
    Sounds like a good idea. Let's not reinvent the wheel considering the wheel that exists (the Wordpress plugin) is spot on. I used it too and it was great. I know IPB is totally different software, but functionality-wise hopefully it can be mirrored.

    Since I use the the Printful plugin for WooCommerce on my Wordpress site, I'd say just mimic exactly how it works there, but for IPB. That should be good enough. 👍

    If you can truly build a fully functional integration for Printful, you can name your price as far as I'm concerned.  This goes for any developer reading this!
