    @Fosters, renewal for my purchase of this app is now due. There’s no point in my renewing an app I haven’t been able to use due to the issues previously mentioned.
    It’s been 4 months since you said you’ll address these critical issues, and nothing’s been done about it since. There’s also been no reply to my last post of 24 November. Consequently, I’m asking you for a refund.

    Still waiting for my refund. The application has been broken since I got it and has never been fit for purpose. I have uninstalled it from my site and I won't be using your applications or plugins in future. This has been absolutely awful.
    No wonder people like me are getting sick of the IPS Marketplace...
    I have been on you about the problems with this since September and you have done sweet Fanny Adams about it.
    @Fosters. Refund. Now.

    Just in case anyone is actually following this topic, it appears (haven't seen the code yet though) that the new group formatting feature built in for 4.4 is just doing what this plugin did years ago. There is a variable on the IPS\Member object for group formatting - it's always been there - I think all IPS did was flip the bit from "false" to "true". That just nulls out a portion of what this plugin does so if you still want formatting nearly everywhere, this plugin will remain valid.

    I shouldn't think so, I have both plugins and they work fine together for me.

    Social Search 4.0 Released!
    Revamped dashboard widget. Moved settings menu option to bottom, below ledger and statistics. New option to NOT store searches made by administrators.
  8. Thanks
    Millipede reacted to All Astronauts in Social Search
    1) Colors are generated at the time the search is stored, no way to change them (at the moment) - reason being is this is mainly for the search wall and after awhile the searches will drop off, so any color changes would just be temporary, as the new searches with the new color palette will then be displayed, etc...
    I may be able to perhaps give you a live look at changes? In other words, you change settings and it gives a preview of what 10 random colors under those settings would look like. I'll give that some thought.
    That or I could set a routine I suppose to sweep through and change... I dunno, last 30 days back of searches when you change colors, or at least an option to do so. IF people are storing searches forever, and it's a heavily trafficked and searched site, updates like this (for the whole thing) could be brutal.
    2) Color changes are immediate for all new searches going forward. No waiting or delay.
    3) Yes, will make that change today. Also had to mix up the dashboard widget for scrunched formatting, and the widget now has links to ledger and stats.
    4) Option for admins to not have searches stored? I can do that.

    all the settings directly from 3.4.x and front end

    the above images is not members online today.
    I plan return to x hours and will also upload second version for x mins so people can choose the best who was online that fits there community.

    Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated.
    Personally, for me, we liked members online today (from midnight). Once I removed it and my community went nuts, as they like to see if their friends have been online today. Also moderators liked to instantly see if a troublesome member had signed-in yet, that day. That said, I currently have this mod reinstalled and set to 1440 minutes, but only visible to staff for now.
    I still think if it's possible it would be great to have a choice of 4 options:
    Online Today (aka since Midnight - in users time zone if poss, or server time if not). Online during the last 24hrs. Online during the last X hours. Online during the last X minutes.

    You need the “error_log” file in the root of your domain/forum. You need to access it via FTP or via cPanel's "File Manager". It's a text file but has no file type as such, you can open it with a plain text editor. This error_log shows PHP errors, but not necessarily every single one.
    The "Errors" area in cPanel is different, it shows you errors relating to URLs, eg: bad urls, often due to bots or wannabe hackers trying to find a non-existent URL, hence "File not found".
    If you have shell access (which I don't), you may be able to view other error logs in apache?

    Yes that correct Michael was main person made the 2.x.x to 3.3.x might stayed to 3.4.x then he left all his hooks have been taken over by different devs now, the only other one was like this was new member online or like that but i like people feedback 🙂 how widget get better so before get finished lets see how many people would like 24 hours (set by default) or cut off via 60 mins (set by default).

    I'm sure I must be getting too old, or thinking of some similar named mod, as I'm sure it used to be configurable to either today or last 24hrs. There is a default widget that mention last x minutes. Did this plug-in used to be called Members Online Today or something similar and then it switched to minutes?
    As DonPetru mentioned, hopefully it will allow a choice of
    Today (since midnight in users time zone) Last 24hrs Hours Minutes Then it would cover every angle?

    You are a super shining star, Dawid! 🌟
    Deleting spam or inappropriate PMs, however rare it may be, is my primary use for the app. So, thanks so very much for adding this!
    I also love the new breadcrumb in the previous update, it really helps to go back to the viewer. Why IPS didn’t add similar to all ACP menu items in v.4 is beyond me, it’s such a pain to click back (or when there's no "cancel" button) or try and find the menu item again.

    Thank you for the update! Could we add an option to delete PMs directly? Like the hide button?
    If a PM is spam or unwanted, we have to go into the PM and remove each participant(s) which takes time.
    Please add a quick remove button if possible.

    Here it goes, in case you want to do it.
    Download and open \plugins\deadtopicprotection\hooks\dtpTopicView.php and find:
    /* !Hook Data - DO NOT REMOVE */ public static function hookData() { return array_merge_recursive( array ( 'topic' => array ( 0 => array ( 'selector' => '#elClubContainer > div.ipsClearfix > ul.ipsToolList.ipsToolList_horizontal.ipsClearfix.ipsSpacer_both', 'type' => 'add_after', 'content' => '{{if $topic->deadTopicProtection()}} {template="deadtopicprotection" group="plugins" app="core" location="global" params="$topic"} {{endif}}', ), 1 => array ( 'selector' => '#replyForm', 'type' => 'add_before', 'content' => '{{if $topic->deadTopicProtection()}} {template="deadtopicprotection" group="plugins" app="core" location="global" params="$topic"} {{endif}}', ), ), ), parent::hookData() ); } /* End Hook Data */ Change it to:
    /* !Hook Data - DO NOT REMOVE */ public static function hookData() { return array_merge_recursive( array ( 'topic' => array ( 0 => array ( 'selector' => '#replyForm', 'type' => 'add_before', 'content' => '{{if $topic->deadTopicProtection()}} {template="deadtopicprotection" group="plugins" app="core" location="global" params="$topic"} {{endif}}', ), ), ), parent::hookData() ); } /* End Hook Data */ Uploade the file. Go to ACP -> System -> Support -> Something isn't working correctly, click in the button to continue. You'll get the message only above the editor:

    it would seem you have an app installed that has a content router extension, but it doesn't have a container class (or it is missing the property for it).
    i've put a check in the code to make sure this property is populated and/or the class actually exist before passing it to the form helper.

    when i first activated php 7.2 on my cpanle/easyapache 4 server, it was missing the php-mbstring and php-mysql, and all i had to do was go rebuild it with the missing plugins and it worked fine, so i'd imagine it is something similar for you, as there are a few plugins IPS needs to run properly.
    I've gone ahead and rolled back to a early version of the codebase, before the php 7 syntax was introduced and then back ported the fixes (changing them to work in php 5.6 as well).  I will be releasing this shortly.
    most of my new stuff and new major versions for any of my apps will be written with php 7+ in mind. just a friendly reminder, php 5.6 and php 7.0 will reach EOL this december.

    its next in my queue to take a look at.

    Might this app be of use? Except it's "not currently available for purchase." You might want to check the support topic, as there currently seems to be a bug with it if it's set to ignore topics with replies. It's identical to a similar hook that used to exist for IPB 3, I think called Forum Pruner.

    Even didn't delete the files in the uploads folder, the column in DB is null, which makes the API to grab the image again. That's how it should work.
    I'll take a look in delete files from UPLOADS folder.
