  1. @bfarber I don't think it necessarily needs to be a setting, I don't know a lot of people that will use it as I do. But I think that having a class that is group_# or something on the post wrapper by default would both allow for the easy CSS possibility and not be over the top.
  2. And it works on dark and light themes. Me and my members are just a colorful bunch. I'm sure I blind @Rikki every time he see's my site though.
  3. Meh. I do this already on a larger scale. I DO! However, think that a group specific flag should be on each post. Like I do to attain this so you can theme it without editing the template itself.
  4. Well if its not changing it could be a manual Theme change. For the most part "General Settings" should address this issue.
  5. That's why I just put "Insert code" Since I don't know the templates I couldn't be more helpful than that. I also don't know if they want to add the advertisement as a grid item SO! There are a few factors there to consider. Edit: I don't know the specifics because I didn't design the templates. 😉 But giving the basic overview of what is needed to accomplish what they want.
  6. It should work for anything that has a foreach in order to loop the items.
  7. That could be a bug OR they have more permissions than you think they have.
  8. Still doable with Superblocks. You need to do some counting. Basically something at the end of each Foreach that is like: {{$adcount=++;}} {{if $adcount = 5}} Insert code {{elseif $adcount=10}} Insert Code {{endif}}
  9. So I know you can normally get things from a URL into the page but I can't remember for the life of me how to do it and can't find any good references to it. The short version is I have a lot of cross linked databases and I have links to submit to alternative databases and link it to the current one. What I want is if you click that "Create record" link that it auto-populates the "database relationship" field so they don't have to enter it manually. What would you recommend or remind me of so that I can do this?
  10. That would be nice. I mean, as it stands, it works but I can't tell you how many times I mouse over that icon to choose a reaction and then have to do it again because my mouse moved just above the line as I went to the left (or right). Its worse on the more mini versions like in Status Updates because the area is about half of what it is on a post. I think it will also make things better for end users to be able to access ones that are further away faster. On mobile it would reduce on the need to scroll as well as thumb reach. In a way I feel penalized because I want to give my members the ability to express themselves.
  11. I trust one support ticket will suffice lol. I run FF at home and it happens there and Chrome at work. It happens there too. If you actually want me to submit a ticket @Matt then just let me know.
  12. It’s not incorrect technically. If the toggle is off then it’s filtering for the listings that have the toggle off. I understand your need (I have wanted it before and ended up removing these toggles for this exact reason). I think you should post in suggestions though. I don’t think it’s as easy as making 0 NULL though. Because some may actually have a use/need for it to recognize those toggles.
  13. I figured I'd circle back to this @Jordan Invision and show you just my personal reactions given/received on my site: The one thing I want to point out is that the "I read this" is the most used" but not because its used anymore but what I changed the likes Pre multi-reactions. That reaction is there to primarily keep people from defaulting to the "like" reaction and actually persuade them to use the other reactions. Yes, some are lesser used, as you can see there, but in general they are regularly used reactions and all have a purpose on my site.
  14. When editing using this: The last edit date should be updated on this listing. This is particularly important for databases that "last update" bumps the listing to the top.
  15. On my site I don't have comments enabled in a lot of places on my databases but I just noticed on one of the ones that reviews are the only thing enabled it still allows me to post a comment update when using the edit bit at the bottom:
  16. I wouldn't have done it via tags. I would have created a separate forum for it that you can then dump back into another when its over.
  17. Or use CSS to change out the font awesome Icons.
  18. Number one: Number two you can remove/move them via CSS or template edits.
  19. Some are from pre 4.0 but I don’t remember which knowing where they are located you can tidy up etc. especially if you want to replace a block with a new design. This would make sure you don’t miss them.
