  1. No worries. I was just trying to make sure it was clear that is how it works and always how it worked so no one gets confused about it if they read the thread. IIRC @breatheheavy modified their email templates to use the sendgrid unsubscribe instead of the IPS unsubscribe which is where I believe the core of their issue is coming from TBH. Sendgrid won't honor what the End User wants from IPS is the End User has specified they don't want email from the sender at all.
  2. This is how it works NOW. Its always been how it worked. When you sign up for the newsletter/admin communication you are signing up to allow for "bulk mail" that the admin sends. It does not in any way affect the notifications etc.
  3. This is how the newsletter works currently. If you're having problems with it then there is something larger as far as an issue. Receiving bulk mail from the site is NOT under the same umbrella as receiving notification emails etc. THEY ARE separate.
  4. Q1) How are they unsubscribing? Normally when they unsubscribe from the newsletter this doesn't stop other things. Most likely you are using Sendgrid's unsubscribe and you would likely have to discuss this with them or get some sort of mod to undo this miess. Q2) If they aren't subscribed to your newsletter that block shows up (last I checked it doesn't show to guests at all). What it sounds like is that they are subscribed to your newsletter but they have unsubscribed from receiving your emails through sendgrid and so sendgrid isn't sending anything. You should be using the default IPS subscribe/unsubscribe stuff, not sendgrid's which is likely your downfall here.
  5. Is their actual content count increasing when they do these actions?
  6. Oh! You're not talking about a block then. You're talking about the index page for the Gallery. I didn't realize that. You will need to submit a ticket as that does sound like a bug.
  7. You edit the block when the sidebar manager is open.
  8. You will need a plugin for this. Edit the block it will tell you there. Honor permissions is probably unchecked:
  9. Its a group setting. You are limiting how long they have to edit something after they post it: This is on the Content Tab of the group. Edit: For the other issue. On the block it ignores permissions in some cases. What are the settings on the block?
  10. I figure this topic needed some love. I know this isn't all new and exciting stuff but always good to see bugs fixed.
  11. I have the same type of rule and I'm not able to duplicate this behavior. I submitted a content item to pages and it triggered just fine. Is it comments?
  12. Yeah, do what Nathan said and place it in the custom.css. It will override that and keep you from having issues in future updates when IPS makes changes to that file.
  13. .ipsReact_button { filter: grayscale(0%) brightness(100%); } It will make it look normal. The problem is that the default is meant for the heart and doesn't work well on the yellow emojis.
  14. They should but I guess I’ve never looked there. That more sounds like a bug.
  15. So what is in that first rule? No scheduled tasks and logging out/in should trigger this as per @bfarber's constant reminder that it does. Mine secondary group promotion works upon registration. I'll show you here: (I apparently really need to fix those colors lol) Note it hasn't even been approved yet and it already has my 2 secondary groups.
  16. Yes safe to delete. Your server will recreate it.
  17. This is normally a server log.
  18. Interestingly enough... I have the same thing in my list and I have no idea what it is either. lol. Probably has something to do with a plugin but I'm not sure which one.
  19. Do you want the full Page title? Because I think that might just be {$title}. More or less I guess I need to understand what you're trying to achieve.
  20. Change it to this: .cMultiQuote { display: none !important; }
  21. Just note that promotions only run on account change. Which means that if something doesn't trigger a member update it won't run this promotion. It can be anything (log in, log out, update post count etc).
  22. I would lean toward your content being deleted immediately as even the option above should still have a restore option:
  23. I choose the group that they are in by default. I choose Less than 7 days (at least for mine it can be less than one days) and it will add it. You can always remove the secondary group on all other promotion/group changes even if they don't have it. The removal just checks to see if its there and if it is it removes it. So in your case: Less than 1 day In Members group Add Secondary Group Then when they get moved etc either via promotion or purchasing a subscription you should be able to remove the secondary group. If the subscription doesn't let you remove it then what you do is you add a group promotion rule for the subscription groups that removes it: Is in Subscription group Remove secondary group That would remove it the moment they subscribe etc.
