Yes, I want to solve this too. But I got only 3 options out of 21. I know how this works... I can make like you or the others request, then come 5 and complain. So I'll have to make workarounds to fit to everyone's needs, which will make support impractical.

Guess I'll send PMs to other buyers.

Actually, the information from the topic is not being copied to the article form.

Actually, the article IS already linked to the topic you promoted it from. I got confused because when you submit the article, it's creating another topic, but if you comment in the article, the posts are added to the topic the article was made from, not to this newly created topic after submiting the article. I guess it's a bug.

So from here the question is what happens if the promoted post is not the first in the topic.

My suggestion was to make a new topic and link the article to it if it's not the first post, but if it's the first post leave it as is.

Agree with both. Not happy with those buttons too. Maybe a more modern layout would be good there.

Yeah, I know... it was at a first moment but it gets misaligned, like that:

Probably there's some CSS trick to avoid it.

I will research for a fix and make it a editor in a further version.

You just create the stream and set it as the default. Everyone will use it.

I always use it... never happened to me.

i don't like it either and I really don't use it. Users from my board also dislike it.

Anyway, you can mimic the VNC by creating a new stream with the following setting:

It will show:

Then you set this stream as the default.

This is the closest you will get of VNC.

This plugin will give to users from specific user groups the ability to put topics under special surveillance, by adding a badge (risk of closure) and message in specific places to users get advised that won't be tolerated flaming/discussions on those topics.

Users from selected groups will have access to a new area on ModeratorCP (Topics Under Special Surveillance) to get a list of all topics under special surveillance. From that new area, those users will be able to remove the special surveillance status from topics (same can be done in topic view). Those users has also the abilitiy to receive a notification everytime another user put a topic under special surveillance.

Every action (add or remove special surveillance status) is added on Moderator Log for further check.
