    New problem (bug) is that when the plugin is enabled, new registrations are not displayed at all but are automatically approved, overriding my setting for administrator manual approval. So, I have had to disable the plugin. Disabling the plugin things have returned to normal: someone registers, I go to ACP and Approve, done deal.

    Can't confirm this. I approved a few users on weekend like I always did. I will ask this for the other admin who makes this everyday on my board.

    Anyway, I really find is hard to auto approve since it is not programmed to do that. It should do:

    1 - list the users via widget

    2 - approve when you click in the button, which is only a shortcut to a method os \IPS\Member.

    Does anyone else can confirm this?

    I allow my Moderators to use IP Tools, but I do NOT allow them to ban anything.

    This application allows my moderators to ban ip addresses. There should be a setting to disallow this. As it is, I am going to have to edit the templates so that the ban link doesn't appear to moderators, but to admins only.

    It will display the link ONLY if the moderator HAS permission to do it:

    			{{if \IPS\Member::loggedIn()->modPermission('can_use_ip_tools')}}
    				<td class='ipsType_center' style='width: 10%;'>
    					<a href='{$url2}' data-confirm data-confirmsubmessage="{lang='ips_ban_ip_address_desc'}">{lang='ips_ban_ip_address'}</a> | <a target='_blank' href='{$url1}'>{lang='see_uses'}</a>
    				</td>
    			{{endif}}

    Hi Kevin, I am wondering how the development is going for the rules extension of the invite plugin?

    I didn't talk to him yet. Honestly, I don't see how both apps can work together.

    Also, you know I'm working on Classifieds now... that's why I asked, at least, 30 days to work on this.

  4. Not a big thing to me. You should know what's best for your community.

    What's New in Version 3.1.0:

    • Added a widget setting to admin decide who can manage validating queue: if only admins or users from specific user groups. ADMINS is the default value, so nothing will change for those who already use the plugin.

  5. I will give you an advice that you REALLY should listen: before you buy something, MAKE A PRE-SALE QUESTION! Just because the old version of the plugin has a setting, it doesn't mean that I HAVE TO ADD this setting on new version.

    So are you asking to remove the whole security thing from ACP and add a simple check by user group? So if anyone on your board enables it to Guests, it's fine to you?

    Will other users that bought this agree with you? This is not a custom plugin made only to you.

    Only question is: When I add the widget, I go to edit it as I assume there are some settings such as which groups can use it etc, but it doesn't display any settings.

    No setting, as described:

    Only Admins with no restriction on ACP will be able to view/use the widget.

    I've noticed that the app freezes since the latest updates. It sits in "Approving" Mode without finishing the task.

    I have to manually go to the ACP and validate.

    Same problem here. After update to IPB 4.1.6.1, clicking Approve is activated but just sits displaying "Approving". I had to go in and manually approve, as I used to, in the ACP. I have disabled the plugin and waiting for a fix.

    What's New in Version 3.0.2:

    • Compatibility version with IPS 4.1.6+
  8. This app is to invite guests/non registered members to join the community. It extends the register screen. That's the main and the only goal of this app.

    Sorry, I have no plan to change the app in that direction.

    Just updated to 4.1.7 and I can confirm it. Will take a look.

  10. Btw, to others: this app won't work with that menu in 4.1 due to changes IPS made to the menu. I will release a 4.1 compatibility without the menu and with the department field in the form.

    responseDo you fixed?

    Because I have bought useless plugin.

    Please rapid response.

    If you can't wait, I will refund you. Then someday, when you have more time, you buy it back when it's working.

    @AndyF, please refund this user and remove him from the buyers list, so he doesn't get updates.

    The issue is that when we change the users group via your plugin, it changes their primary group, but not their secondary group.

    This is exacly how the plugin is supposed to work. You could have used this topic to make your question before buy it. If it was to ADD to secondary groups, the plugin would have other name, rather than CHANGE.

    CHANGE GROUP means primary group, not secondary groups.

  15. About This File

    Useful in support/study groups boards, this plugin will control the number of open (unlocked) topics that each user group can have in each forum in a specific period (hour, day, week and month), by adding a new tab on MANAGE FORUMS, listing all groups and allowing enter a number of topics.

    Settings per forum:

    • Number of topics per group
    • Period: hour, day, week and month

    When users accepts their invite, they will be upgraded to a group specified in the ACP.

    Yes, that's one of the features I will add. Hope a new version in less than one month.

    recently upgraded to latest version of IPS4 (4.1.6.1) and during the upgrade it disabled this and other (3rd party) plugins. After re-enabling it, it now throws a EX1054 error when copying a topic with poll ... any ideas ?

    What's New in Version 1.0.2:

    • IPS 4.1.6+ compatibility.

    Unknown column 'tid' in 'field list'

    Yeah, they removed the column tid on 4.1.6! :o

            "params": [
                "core_polls",
                "tid"
            ]
        },

    Let me see how this works now... I'll update the plugin probably tomorrow. :frantics:
