_Mike_ Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Hello! Required functionality:https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-lazy-load/ (Loads images within the main WordPress Page, Post or Custom Post Type content when each image is visible to the site visitor. This helps reduce load times, increase site performance and reduce server bandwidth by only loading images when they're truly needed.) The problem, page loading more than a minute, for example: http://lednews.lighting/topic/1141-профиль-для-светодиодной-ленты-виды-сравнение-led-профилей/ Thanks!
Jed Rosenzweig Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Yep, our mobile use is now bigger than desktop so anything we can do to help is great.
Himadri Goswami Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yes...we need to be fast now. Rather than adding new features everyday, we need to focus on this

ADKGamers Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 It appears that this is planned per the tag, so no need to be sad anymore

Also, this might be a good solution and SEO friendly https://github.com/dinbror/blazy Look at the title of the thread. IPS has long used this site's tagging system to mark feedback that is being directly used in some way. In this case, this is now marked as Planned.

Could have sworn it wasn't there before or maybe I just never paid attention.

I hadn't noticed it myself until just before my last post. The fact that it's just Planned and not also Internal Discussion is probably a good sign; I would take it to mean that it's on the roadmap.

ParkerPhoto Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 wp-rocket is a great plugin that does lazy loading.
SeNioR- Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 @Mike John sory for mention you, but you made Videos Lazy Load would you be able to do the same with images?
TheWorldNewsMedia.org Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I am glad they are working on this... Very important to stay relevant in the age of apps. All the eyeballs are going toward easy apps. Our mobile sites had better become easier faster or we will all be irrelevant very fast. Sort of like Google Groups is now.
