I'd like to suggest that the "Show topics/forums with no new" text in the watched content hook be changed to "Toggle topics/forums with no new" or have it change to hide when expanded.

I would like to use a single search facility across my site and as such a search API would be very useful. Say a search query is submitted via my site I would like to simmultaneously request search results from IPB/gallery etc and have them returned as an xml result set in order to combine them with my own search results. Is this currently possibly or likely to be considered for a future version?

Will IPB 3.0 have normal group managing or we will still have to use clans mod ? there is a mod from compguy11.com that allows to create groups and users can join this groups and so on. phpbb and vb have this functionality in base distributive will you add this functions to 3rd version ?

the fast reply on all sites with IPB 3 takes about 5 - 10 seconds to load after I click in it for me to type.... I like how it has more stuff for editing in it... but it's not really useful when it takes longer than it does to load the page with the regular editor

Since it often happens that a new version gets released, some bugs slip through the testing process and a new build of that version needs to be uploaded to our client centers, I think it would be very helpful if the Your Downloads page where we download our copies of the software showed the date (or some other such indicator) of when this particular version was last uploaded. Maybe a build number there would be a good idea instead? I'm just thinking of all of the topics we get where folks talk about bugs they have that have already been fixed, but they might not necessarily have known the version was rebuilt.

I think it should be changed so that newly imported skins are set to visible by default (like IPB 2), currently they are set to invisible by default upon import. Because, 9 chances out of 10 if you are importing a skin you probably want it to be visible (a new skin for your members to use). It's becoming annoying to have to toggle the visibility setting after every import.

So I have a few members who have spammed the boards. A few of them had hundreds of posts. Literally. One had something like 683. How do I get rid of all of those posts quickly? Here's what I'm doing: ACP > Members Tab > Manage Spam Members > Click on member's name > Actions > Delete All Member's Posts... > and this is where it gets confusing. I see, for example: Delete ALL of this member's 5 POSTS? If enabled: a topic started by this member that has no replies is deleted otherwise the topic is left. Delete ALL of this member's 4 TOPICS? Since version 2.3.x of IPB, the ibf_posts and the ibf_topics don't have the same type for the icon_id field. Let's imagine this situation, a member can use 127 (tinyint(2)) icons message in a post but much more in a topic (smallint(3)). We can use API to write topic with a incorrect icon message number we can not change later editing the first post of the topic. Not really a bug but using the same type for the icon_id field should be better not?

Is there any way now or planned where we can get more information on the hits our sites are getting on the spam service? The reason I ask is because I got a level 4 hit on a registration over the weekend from someone who was a customer of mine on another site, and I'm reasonably certain he is not a spammer. I checked his email address and IP address on another site that stores this sort of thing (not sure if I should post the link or not, but they've been mentioned in the general discussion of forum spam before) and while his email address came up with nothing there were a few hits on his IP address. I am unable to download IP.Board 3.0.2 from the Client Area. I receive an error when clicking on the "Download File" link at the bottom of the license agreement. Is anyone else seeing this? I am able to download the Blog and Gallery without any problems. ..Al

So much of the feedback is for feature requests. I just want to give a thank you :thumbsup: for modifying the RSS feed (in 3.0.2) to display image attachment thumbnails inline with the RSS feed item. It also shows attachment mime icons. Great!

In IP.Board 2.x, on the page where we manage our skin templates, you could easily tell which skin group had one or more modified skin templates in it as the little icon beside it would be red. This functionality was removed in 3.x. I found this to be helpful for a number of reasons, and would like to see it return. First, if an upgrade to the forum software modifies some skin templates, the upgrade script won't touch your modified skin template groups, and you'll have to patch those manually. When we look at a difference report, we used to be able to quickly see whether or not any of the templates changed in this new version needed this manual patching; if you could …

Regarding the new spam service, it seems to have caught it's first spam account on my board and succesfully banned them which is brilliant! Why though does it take this action? I don't really want a load of banned spam accounts show up in my members list.
