The who's online guest count shoots up due to the site replicating ip addresses to each page they visit, this only happened since I upgraded to the latest version (v4.1.18.2) I've tried disabling all apps and add on's and still no joy. Also third party embed code is not working at all (well I can't get it to work in custom boxes also through source) Any help in this would be great Also, I added a SSL cert at the same time all this started going wrong

I have 10 seconds delay option enable for group members, other wards they have to wait for 10 seconds for the file to download. Reason for posting that there is no inductor that it's counting down. Should be something that is telling the user that there is an clock counting down. Having allot of members keep on clicking the download and nothing happens, then they have like downloaded 10 or so same files

Maybe an addition to the message you get when one reaches the daily set limit of likes allowed to give. detailing when they reset? i am always being asked when they reset. And i do not know myself how the mechanics of likes even work in regards to resetting. Anyone?

Is there a reason why this problem continues to happen? Why does it take hours to fix every time too? I really don't understand this. It looks to me like someone doesn't want to actually fix the problem, and instead just continues to "turn it off and on again", or whatever they are doing to "resolve" the issue.

The AdminCP dashboard is a nice idea, but currently we don't have that many widgets to put there. I'd like to suggest... 1) An error overview. Show us how many errors have been generated over the last 24 hours in each of the error categories. Flag up IPs or pages which are generating the most errors. 2) General stats - users online last 24 hours, number of new content items / comments in last 24 hours (or daily for the week) 3) Admin logs. Who's banned who and deleted what. 4) Server load, perhaps graphed over the last 24 hours Any other ideas?

Hello, how can I add additional links to the Invision Copyright? Since i am forced to make advertising for Invision.... then I would be so fair and add XenForo and vBulletin also with it. For me it makes no difference whether more forums are called in the footer. Maybe for google if they're checking backlinks.... Can you help me?

Was wondering why the helpful upvote is anonymous but Likes have a setting for this. These are basically Likes of another name. We should be able to let groups see who found it helpful (the Likes setting) or at least global. Also the Like button is right next to it. I find this confusing. If you find it helpful it means you like it, so are members expected to use both? How about just the helpful button on reviews. I took a look at a lot of the reviews here and most of the likes are from the author of the product. Makes sense. Thanking them for the review. I can be notified when someone replies to my topic, quotes me, mentions me, replies to a status, follows me and it's all great. But when a member reports a post there is no way to be notified when a moderator comments on the report. Not all reports are handled straight away, some posts moderators like to see what all mods think firs, the only way is to keep opening the warning icon and seeing if the title has turned bold. When we have a notification system already in place for content across the forum, would it be possible to have.... X has commented on X report That would be a lovely addition to the IPB.

Did any of you try to enter Client Area here on IPS - like for instance alternative contacts? I'm asked a question about the name of the street I was living in as a child. I have never answered that question anywhere (but my memory is so and so....), and I can't see where the settings are for altering or write my answer. If IPS like to use 2 factor authentifications - it would be better if they used google - as that is the best and safest option.

I really think we need the option to have a Purchase Agreement displayed to the user before transferring them to the payment area. There is a download agreement but in this case the user has ALREADY paid for an item before then see the download agreement. Some information would be good to know BEFORE paying for something. IE: don't buy if you dislike our no refund policy etc etc.

I noticed 4.1.18 update now only allows members permissions upload an avatar or not Previously we had this configured so users could set an avatar only by URL....to prevent them uploading images to our server. Now they can't set an avatar at all since the feature was changed, if a user wants to set avatar via URL, a staff member with the correct permissions has to do it manually on their profile! This is a step back! Ideally we would like to have 3 options Avatar set via upload and URL Avatar set via URL only Avatar set disabled Is there any chance this could be looked at please? Thanks.

For those of us who make substantial use of the Calendar app, I think it would be great if one could have event reminders sent to the event owner and/or a particular group of members as emails and/or notifications. Personally, I would also love to see more control over pruning and deleting events. If one wants to keep DB space down by deleting old events, there should be an option to delete all events (choose between single or repeating events?) between X and Y date ranges or all events before date X, or even to wipe the calendar clean with one command if need be. This suggestion has been made before, but I think it's a very important one. I think it would be great if one could drag-and-drop items in a Gallery album to manually change their display order when needed. If one wants to display material following a certain narrative (say, in a Gallery album associated with an Article or Blog post) to my mind it would be imperative to be able to order images to follow that presentation of information. Sometimes ordering by upload date, title, etc. just isn't good enough.

I might have mentioned at least one of these before, but I have a couple of suggestions for associated albums: When an album is associated with a Blog post, could you please make a (hopefully) small change to the Images listing to include the image's title? That would make it much easier for the reader to refer to images mentioned in the post (especially if there are many), even if they don't click the images to view them full size. And....please allow albums to be associated with Articles? I had this week off on holiday, I thought it'd be a great time to get a grip and update my three licences to v4. Hmm, It took over a day to generate an invoice because of my jumbled mix of legacy licences, ok fair enough. So when I got the invoice I paid it straight away. Now, it's taken two days and counting and I've still not got my packages reactivated. Maybe tomorrow, maybe never, who knows? I've had no contact on the ticket, so I haven't a clue? Hi, I'm stunned and very disappointing the Commerce system offers no way to get sales data for specific products sold through the system! We're selling more and more products, some of which were co-created by third parties who will receive a cut of the revenue. How the heck an I supposed to give them reports of the sales and what their cut will be? Please help, I've never seen another merchant system lack this incredibly critical and basic feature and as we add more products it will be completely impossible to continue to stay on the Commerce system without these per item sales stats! Same goes for the referrals system.. it can be for specific products…

We utilise the cPanel Hosting capabilities of the Commerce App, and it'd be great if we could simply enter the name of the package that exists on the cPanel server, instead of manually reconfiguring the package afterwards via WHM. As there's no package sent to the API for "createacct", the accounts on the cPanel server are setup with the "default" package which overrides anything I've setup on both IPS4 and via the package manager in WHM. Having multiple hosting products available is a nightmare. A simple textbox in the product settings would suffice.

I'd love to request this feature. When we merge two topics, the followers of the merged thread are lost. This was particularly costly recently because a moderator merged a multi-year-long topic with hundreds of followers the wrong direction - into a new topic with no followers. And now the followers are all gone. He didn't notice for several days so retrieval of the follower information from the database is impractical. @Lindy, I realize the road map is fairly well set, but is there any place to put these sort of feature requests?

Hey, not sure if this is the correct section to ask this. I sell subscriptions to digital goods, and I'm wondering if it is possible to setup custom durations within the custom fields. I can see the options adding varying prices, but nothing about the actual duration of the subscription or perhaps I'm blind. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can't seem to find a search function with in the Nexus system with in the tickets area. If I need to find something but have let say 50 tickets I don't recall whom had it are I need to search for something. I would have to manual go through each ticket and try to find what I'm looking for. I would think having a search within the ticket area would be helpfully to owners.

Hi, When we click to move a topic to another forum, IPS shows a list of all forums, including those that are only links, not real forums. Of course you can't select those, but some moderators are complaining that they can't move topics to these forums, but of course the problem is that they are trying to move a topic to a link, not to a real forum. To solve this issue, I'd like to suggest that links could be excluded from the forums list when using the "Move topic" and similar functions. Or a setting to configure whether to include links or not in those lists. Thank you in advance, Gabriel.
