It would be 🤯 to be able to have an internal AI connected to the different databases that we can create with Pages as well as that of the forum. This would make it possible, for example, to ask the AI for specific things about previously published content. When you have been in existence for 20 years and you cover the daily news of a football club, you have a quantity of data full of history. AI would make it possible to offer an alternative to traditional research.

Hi IPS, As per title, when you will add a file download based on LINK from sites like https://mega.nz/ or other similar the file name will become similar to this: Can you add optional field allowing to set file name displayed in download? For links based file downloads. If filled then display the name, otherwise ignore. PLEASE.

So the "Prepare for v5" feature said to post here if we have questions. I don't recall seeing anywhere that it was mentioned the status updates feature was going to be removed. While our community doesn't use them a lot, they're still something people want. Are there plans for something to replace it or is it just going away forever? If this was mentioned somewhere else I'd appreciate a link to the topic.

How would 4.7 clients that have a physical store, be able to retain having an in-house solution with V5? Is Shopify fully integrated, would someone be able to sell physical items there, and will the store be on the domain which IPS is located?

In IPS5 we have the new tags pages. I think it would be useful if we can also combine 2 tags. Explanation: Now, in IPS4, I have many tags like "Sony Experience", "Philips Experience", "Samsung Experience" - depending on the forum. With the new "central" tags, I would have to specify these many tags in the central settings. It would be easier if I only had to specify "Sony", “Philips”, "Samsung" and “Experience” separately and then, at the end, combine them into a tag page.

I have a few words held for mod approval, this works quite well but it’s frustrating when I’ve approved a post, but then that post is quoted numerous times (with the word in) and those posts are then held also.

When you have a community with a large number of posts and reputation points, the leaderboard page (/leaderboard/) takes a very long time to load. Increasing the InnoDB buffer size can improves the load time, but it’s still not great. Thanks.

When I share a topic from a club, the image that shows in messages and on social is the default share image that I set in the AdminCP. If it's possible, would you consider using the club's cover photo for those topics if there's no image in the thread? Thanks as always!

Now that v5 is requiring a closed tag system, which I appreciate, I believe it is time for a proper tag editor system should be built (at least a plugin, if trying to push v5 out). Paying $30 for one in a marketplace that is now closed and that has known bugs with elastic search enabled should not be our only option. Even an API would be something, although not the best method for many administrators. I have 720 tags that need to be entered, maintained, and viewed, and you can see how tedious that would become.

I gave "all contents" a good ol’ search for "Q&A" here in the forums, but nothing came up. So, here I am brand new to 4.7, flailing my way up the v5 mountain like a caffeinated squirrel, and I clicked "Prepare for v5." That’s when this happened: Now, I have absolutely no idea what I did to enable Q&A (did I press a secret button? Whisper the wrong incantation?). I’m also not entirely sure what I need to do to disable it, or frankly, if disabling it is even a thing, I’m able to do. So here I am, tangled in a web of change. Is it me who needs to change? I have a couple of words which trigger the word filter. I have selected the following option for the trigger: Action to take: Hold content for moderator approval When triggered, the following message is displayed in the post header: This content must be approved before it can be edited. But the content is editable (by the member). I do not know if the above is an incorrect text string or if the post should be uneditable.

What is owed and calculating VAT I am sure that the majority of forums that are using Invision are not affected by this, either because they do hit the VAT threshold (£90k for UK businesses, 85k€ for EU businesses, £0/0€ for offshore businesses selling to UK/EU) or they are unaware of their VAT/Tax requirements. But as soon as a business needs to register for VAT this affects them. Digital Services, as I am currently aware are VATable at the standard rate, 20% in UK, different percentage in Europe depending on the country of consumption. Since the engine supports account registration and includes account profiles, it would be great to have the ability to set a custom tag or username for the profile, such as website.com/@nickname, instead of something like website.com/23423-nickname. Additionally, the same feature could be implemented for clubs, allowing them to set a custom tag or name as well. For example: website.com/clubs/@name, website.com/guilds/@name, or website.com/teams/@name, depending on how these groups are named on the specific website (e.g., clubs, communities, guilds, etc.).

The line break after profile fields in short posts causes too much vertical empty space. I suggest removing the break on simple field data like the STATE field example on the right. Until that's changed, could someone tell me how to make that adjustment happen by inserting code into a template or inserting custom css (in V5 Beta 8)?

I see Cloudflare recently released their own Captcha. Just wondering if IPS is going to implement it as an option in the future? I see their competitor has implemented it in an upcoming release. It would be too tedious for a Club leader/mod/admin to manually approve large numbers of club members. I suggest that members can be Promoted to a Club based on custom fields and criteria.

Could we request the implementation of the new BLIK payment method? It’s a rapidly growing payment standard in European countries and very convenient. Stripe allows for integration. It would be great to have it configurable in the commerce module. https://docs.stripe.com/payments/blik
