Currently upgrading my forum to IPB 4 and IPS Converter is upgrading my database for UTF8 support. It's been working on the message_posts table for a couple of hours now without changing the Total progress percentage. I guess this is where the bulk of the conversion happens, so it's going to take a while - just wondering how long this took for others. I guess the key thing is ensuring that the process isn't hanging - any way to determine?

Hi I find myself in a position to require another calendar which is a pro wordpress plugin. However this calendar requires a login before posting an event. Is there a way to connect the calendar to the ips suite which I can simply use as a forum(s) and galleries etc. (Of course I appreciate I wont be able to set any permissions on the calendars so Ill have to have a think how to overcome this in some way.) I know there is IPS connect but I really dont want my members ending up inside wordpress dashboard. Chasing a reoccurring issue with my sessions table corrupting and crashing the site. Usually I can recover with the tools in phpadmin, however not always and I need to create a new DB and load from my morning backup. Site is on a dedicated 3 GB virtual server (not shared). One problem the ISP has identified is search bot traffic and I have taken steps to control access. (Tend to have issues around the 21st of every month). Currently looking at using Sphinx for search but it is not yet implemented. Site typically has 40-50 users all day log, with peaks to 75-100 users in the early evening. The ISP has suggested changing the sessions table to InnoDB structure to help stop …

Trying to upgrade to v4. Did the test, Got one error. Some or all of the columns in your database are not using the utf8_unicode_ci collation (ipb_backup_vars.backup_var_key is latin1_swedish_ci) I am running the converter. I have been stuck at this all day. Hasn't moved. Any ideas? Processing api_usersRow: 0 of 0 - Total: 1.26%

Any idea on how to disable sidebar caching for 300 seconds, lowest it's allowing to 60 seconds but I want to completely disable it and see how much performance hit it create....? Most likely I will disable it if my server performance allows.

I've changed the domain URL in conf_global.php however the website return 500 internal server error. I know that last time I did this, i had to rebuild through some kind of php file I downloaded. Hello, we are having a problem with our Forums where random attachments appear on posts, they are usually unrelated and completely random animated gif files, which show up in a users post. There seems to be no particular pattern to this when it occurs. I think it´s related to quick reply but i´m not 100% sure. Has anyone else expirienced such a behaviour? I´m out of ideas how to solve this problem now. We are running IPB 3.4.7

Hi I deleted the default emoticons and proceeded to add a custom set. However it won't let me add anymore and displays an random errors around different areas of the admin CP. Howdy! So I wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing bugs with commerce and EasyPost. Namely, shipping rate criteria doesn't do anything in commerce, and the shipping rates are always visible if given to a product. For example, free shipping over 100 will show even if the cart value is 5 dollars. With EasyPost, I've noticed shipping rates for USPS have their names cut off. First Class shows up as simply First. The estimated dates on EasyPost methods are blank except for one entry. I've also noticed images dissapear when copying a product entry. Has this happened to anyone else? Seems it's random, and doesn't happen when an image is set as the featured image.

Hello, I'm having a major problem with IPS 4. I upgraded from 3.4 and got everything working except theme editing. When I try to edit a theme I just get a white screen. Hi I'm encountering a strange issue on IPB4 - the Skin width is set to fluid and 95% which appears to be working intermittently on the forums. All pages are using a sidebar - the main forum index works fine, but *some* sub-forum index pages overlap the screen to the right. Others are fine. I've used the block editor to create the sidebars and *believe* I've used the same blocks. Hi, Since I am using a Polish language by default for all content on my website I would like to disable the English language - is it possible? I can't find any option for it and the language is locked in the languages - list so I can't really do anything with it. The main reason I'd like to do that is to avoid filling the inputs while creating a new forum/categories on my board (I need to enter the name for both languages every time which is required and annoying). Regards
