I thought I'd post here as support takes a week at best these days... I just moved servers, I ran the get ready for 4.0 test and all ok. Then moved everything over. The issue is the site kinda loads, but JavaScript isn't working, no JS menus etc and when you view a record in pages I get a something went wrong error. Any pointers appreciated.

Hello, I'm a bit new here bought the software not long ago to have a community for my application. I want my users to be able to login to my application through using their IPS usernames and passwords. I also would like to add these users to the online list and I'm not exactly sure exactly what approach to use since there's a couple of different ones. I'd like to use SSL for my whole IPB (4.1) installation. First I enabled the 'https for admin logins' option in the admin panel, but this resulted in a redirect loop. After disabling that option, I tried to replace http with https in 'base_url' in conf_global.php, but this also gave me a redirect loop. Is there something else that needs to be changed? Thanks!

I was getting tired of a slow shared server and moved to a VPS. Now I have at least two issues. Email does not send, none. Search returns an error. See below. I asked the host to look at this, they said ask the vendor, there's nothing wrong with the serer. I fear asking IPS because I'm on 4.0.13.1 and they'll say many errors have been fixed with the newest version and I need to upgrade before getting help. Both email and search worked before the move. I suspect this is something simple I just don't understand. Any help on this is appreciated.

I want to test all the features and html elements of the current theme in order to style them properly before making my forum live. But I can't see all the elements that need styling without pages and pages of topics and messages. For example, I want to see how different member ranks look, how hot topics look, how pagination looks, how banned users look, etc. Is there a way to fill up the forum with sample content, and then an easy way to delete all that content before I go live? Thanks!

Hi, I upgraded my Forum 3.4.8 to 4.1.3.2. In this update it was necessary make a conversion of MySQL to UTF-8, after that all my topics had a problem with accents. My doubt is, there's any way to fix this automatically or it will be necessary fix this manually ? Here is the example Regards

Hi all! Newbie el grande, so have patience plz Just locked myself out from the forum admin backend by uploading a .xml theme for 4.x: Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPS\Theme\class_core_admin_global::js_general() in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/system/Theme/Theme.php(627) : eval()'d code on line 1097 The only thing I did was to make it default. I had some issues when upload it too, system said like "EX2"... How can I go back? Get in? The forum itself works for members and visitors..I just cannot access the backend. Please advice.

I am still having major issues with the Pages application. Most often the selectors to tailor content just don't work. I thought some of this was going to be part of the upgrades scheduled for September, but the selectors still work very infrequently. In this case, the Calendar block. I cannot select a calendar to draw the feed from. I have the community and one additional calendar that I created to test the feature. Trying to unselect "use all" in the edit block effort, I can unselect all, but nothing appears in the pull down. Is this just another known bug in the Pages application? How do I prevent that my testsite sends mails? I an trying to convert from vb to IPS so I first have to install IPS 3.x, so how do I disable all mail here? Then I need to upgrade to 4.x and I also have to be sure mail is not send from here. So how do I disable mail on IPS 4.x?

Hello, i hope somebody can help - i have done the upgrade to new ips but there are happend a lot of problems: during upgrade script everything seemed to worked with 100% withou any error all pulldown menus not working anymore theme builder not possible to add any pages/database blocks - edit button does not work/open with gallery block no problem for example all images which were added with old add media/library function are only hyperlinks now Acp background processes are stick, maybe this is responsible for problem with images? i am using at the moment ips standard theme without any individual moda or edits Hopefully a…

Hello. I'm trying to convert a vboard 3.x system with 484k+ users and over 6 million posts. It's not working so well. The user conversion is hanging at 36,285. Never gets beyond. Where are the conversion logs being kept? I don't see any nor a setting to specify the location and level of logging.

So for the love of me I can't figure this part out. I'm on a IP hosted account so I just put this in my public directory and I figured I should be done. Is there a correct way to do this? I made my icon and dropped it into one of those online generators which spit out 30 different options for android, ios, etc. Is there a setting that I'm overlooking or a plugin that could help me out with this.

Hello, so i reactivated my "IP.Content/Pages" application (I'm guessing they are both the same thing) but i can not find where to download it. I went to my client area, to my applications on my site, to my licence info on my site. Could not find a single thing that says install or download. After refreshing my licence in my ACP it said that Pages are activated, but i can not see them anywhere on my site. Need help.
