Had some people abusing, and I believe they took my administrator away. I still have access to admin and mod CP, but all the permissions are not there. I have been looking for days to find a way to give myself full admin cp perms through phpmyadmin or FTP. Cannot find anything, out of options.

Hello, 🙂 Is there an option to edit a poll's title ? I only found "Close the poll"... It seems like there is nothing to edit the poll's title. Thank you. 🙂 EDIT : sorry, I found the answer just when posting this topic... You edit the first post and you need to clic on the "Poll" tab, just under "Edit topic", at the top...

I have several older plugins that still work just fine on 4.6.9 but in the plugins "directory" in the ACP they all say "Marketplace" but when clicking on the marketplace link (which they originally came from) they show an error not compatible with this version of IPS (which I know they are). How can I change the marketplace link to "Custom"? Thanks

Greetings! We want to setup polls that have "Hide results until the poll is closed?" enabled. And we want moderators of that forum to be able to view the results before the poll is closed. I can do this as the admin, but I cannot find the appropriate moderator permission to do allow moderators to see the results. Here's what I found related to this in the ACP (this is in Moderators -> Content at the bottom of the page): You'd think that "Can see poll votes?" would do the trick, but it doesn't work for this specific case. The "Show Results" link is visible to me, but not a moderator who has the above permission. Thanks in advance …

I've recently started using the word filter to try to filter out some occasional bad language being used by members - I don't especially mind the language too much, it's used in reasonable context most of the time, but Google AdSense takes a very different view! - but having made a change, I don't see that change being reflected in posts that have already been made. Is there a background process that needs to run in order for this to work on posts previously made?

Hi all. We have more and more members complaining that Paypal started failing to charge them and thus their subscriptions are failing to renew. Nothing I can do through the ACP seems to fix this and currently the only solution I could find was to manually extend the expiration date (losing us money in the meanwhile). Anybody encountered something similar? Or does anyone from the IPS team have any input on the matter?

Question.. How do I get id of the index from urls? For example for some reason in order to visit pages on my you have to visit midlifeforums .com/index.php/etc. How can I fix it so that it's just midlifeforums .com/etc without the index.php? Thanks!

A user reported an issue today on our site that revealed a security issue. If a forum has been set up to be a private area, like for instance an administrators forum, but the checkbox in forum permissions for "Read Topics" is accidentally selected for a group, the "Recent Topics" widget will reveal this to any members of the group who happen to be surfing in Incognito Mode in their browser. In the case of our site, this happened to be an errant checkbox allowing Guest to read topics even though they'd been excluded from being able to see the forum. I cam across an issue on my staging website where the file listing of the template editor is not working as it should. It flashes a split second when loading the page, but then the left column where the file listing should appear goes blank. On my live website it works as intended and the file listing shows. To rule out any difference on the staging website, I made a fresh install on the staging site, using an exact copy of the the live version. What could be the reason for this behavior?

I believe the recommendations was to use ipstack when I set up the GeoIP Service (it was a long time ago, so I'm not sure...and I don't see a way to check what service is used--the only setting seems to be disable it). Is there another free service that can be used for this?

When I have no filters except for a specific group in Bulk Mail filtering I get the group I expect. When I select "Not a Spammer" it removes 5 members that are not flagged as spammers. If it select only the Spammer filter, I get the error that the email will not be sent to any users.

Hi, Sitemaps generated for Pages databases (e.g., articles) list contents out of order instead being sorted by <lastmod>. See, in the screenshot below, how the dates are completely out of order. I believe this is a bug. IMO, contents inside the sitemap should be sorted from most recent to least recent.
