We've been running several self-hosted instances of IPS Community Suite over the years and never encountered a problem during updating. However, yesterday time caught up with us. Hello. I've tried twice now to install the latest update. I cleared the cache in between. Hi, we have a self-hosted Invision Community that is not yet publicly available. At first glance, everything is working just fine there are no visible errors. We can add users, create posts and install plugins from the marketplace. Both system and error logs are not showing any exceptions. The problem is that, there is no way to upload any file, for example with the AdminCP, on the Appearance customization (Icons & Logos /admin/?app=core&module=customization&controller=icons) or Site promotion (Edit Advertisement admin/?app=core&module=promotion&controller=advertisements&do=form&id=1) or just when user is trying to upload file to his post …

Hello Community, After updating our server from php7.3-fpm to php7.4-fpm we have an issue with the caching configuration. Our server is on Debian 10 and is running : - nginx 1.14.2-2 - PHP 7.4.28-0 (sury packages) - redis 5.0.14 We have an error stating Caching Method is not running well. If I check in Get Support, I see the Redis Services running, If I shutdown redis, I have a critical issue. Have you any idea what have changed with the php update ? Thanks for your help

Hey, I purchased my licence in 2007 through the Russian reseller ibresource, in 2013 it was transferred to you directly. So, I'm 15 years with you 🙂(a few days ago I bought Pages for my main project, so I'm an active customer) Now I need to set up an English version of my project on a different domain, so I need Forum and Pages. Do I need to buy a new separate license for it for full price?

I'm seeing the following in my Invision power board list of warnings/issues. The hosting provider says this is supported. Is there anything further I can do to fix this/check for issues? Cheers, Gavin. Looks like this may be the solution.

Hello, I am unable to display the popup with the colour selection when I use the highlight colour option in the text editor. I am trying to access the colours I had saved but it's impossible. I click on "more colours", the screen will blink for a millisecond and I will see no colours. I am doing this on the page editor while editing a WYSIWYG widget on a sidebar. It doesn't work for the text colour as well, it's not the highlight text option. See screenshot. Thanks a lot

Why Downloads calculate file size to download on fly after downloads starts? That slows down download speed. The file size exist on file record in database. When downloading the file it keep calculating it while downloading. Do I miss anything? In my IPB3 it knew file size when download started already.

Hi, Could I get some advise what could be the issue, when I download file from Downloads app in my board the board itself stops responding or responds very slowly. What setting may affect that? I have powerful PC, loads of RAM, powerful CPU, I believe it may be some PHP/Web Server settings but what. I am far away from reaching connections limit.

We are using the Club function to create a space for a number of static pages (related to hospital support in Ukraine: https://99nicu.org/clubs/5-support-nicus-in-ukraine/). Is there a way to create sub-items in the menu, i.e. a dropdown function? We would like to group pages this way, to avoid too many items in the "main menu".

SInce years that I run the IPB system I had no problem with upgrades. I recently updated my server to PHP 8.0 but I had no problem with precedent upgrade. But this week, when I want to run the 4.6.11 version, it blocks telling me that there is a "theme incompatibility" I am blocked, I don't know what to do, what is the risk to continue, is there a roll back possibility many thanks in advance for your advice / help

Hi - I migrated a 20+ year old community to Invision in January. We've had a very consistent flow of traffic on our previous site for years. Since migrating to Invision, I've noticed a steady drop off in traffic. Not a slight one, either - more than half - and not all at once, either. It seems to be steadily decreasing, specifically organic searches. Worse, I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as I wish I were in these areas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. dB

When I share a topic from my forums for example on Twitter it shows the title but always includes the name of the forum, is there a way to share the title and links but in a way that the forum name is excluded ? See the image below, you will see that I want to share everything but remove the words 'Open Forum' in this case. I know I can do this manually but just wondered if there was another option, any help appreciated.

Hi there, I noticed an error while the registration process on our website. The registation is no longer possible because the code "error 500" appears. Our new users don't receive the registration validation e-mail so they can't login with their accounts. Also we have 3 recommendations to fix.. can someone help?

Good Day I have two themes originally purchased from the marketplace, in future i will be downloading them from the theme developers forum. Could a member of support let me know how to change the themes in my admin cp from marketplace to custom so i can update them manually ?
