Hi All I'm new to Invision and had a quick question regarding the Downloads area. I have set up various catergories and subcategories as you can see in the screenshot below. What I can't seem to figure out is why the catergory "Football Manager Logos" does not feature the subcategories at all and reads "No files in this category yet"? Ideally I would like the subcategories to display on the page in the screenshot. I set the category as a parent for each of the subcategories. Any ideas if this is possible? Kind Regards Derek

Hello! On new localhost installs, the option to Create a new Status doesn't seem to display, despite being the logged-in Admin and having all the status permissions and status settings enabled. Is there a requirement for it to show that I'm missing, or doesn't it work by design on localhost? Thank you. Hi I added a new card payment method. Then when paying for a product I was unable to use an existing stored card which was previously used with payment method 1, I had to re-enter the card for the new payment method 2. In the screenshot, the first three cards were previously used with payment method 1. I had to re-add the card ending in 3155 when using payment method 2 rather then choosing one of the stored cards. It never offered any of the stored cards. Is this the expected behaviour?

In the past, a file name was always associated with a downloadable file such as audio.mp3. Now, there's no file name, just a download button and speed control. How do I get the name of the files to show up?

My community is image-heavy and I noticed whenever I copy and paste an image from my image program, it pastes into the forum as a very large PNG even if it was a JPG. This is filling our board with a lot of large PNG files. Is there a way to paste it as a JPG? Would I need to disable PNG from being posted at all?

When I try to upgrade my board using the build in updater, I am getting this weird progress bar (see attached image). It just stops there, and the whole board is offline. I can't do anything to turn it back on. Please help if you know what I should do.

I have a recommendation in my ACP saying the following: Based on my past experience, running these sorts of SQL updates through the ACP almost always times out and ends up incomplete. Is there a way to get the SQL commands needed to do this conversion so I can do it via SSH or PHPMyAdmin? Thanks!

Hi, I want to add image advertisements (with links) in a custom location, within topics on the forum. About 1/3 of the way down the topic, then 2/3 then at the end. I have read this documentation about how to set up custom locations but it makes zero sense. Of course, I do not have the expertise to understand the HTML and CSS of your theme template, pick out the correct part and then set up the custom location. So can someone tell me how to do this? I recently updated my community's PHP version from 7.4 to 8.0, and ever since, I've been unable to get the software to recognize Redis. This is what I see when I go to the settings page (with my directory blacked out for privacy reasons): I've confirmed that I have Redis version 6.2.6 installed on my server, as well as the Redis PHP extension. I've also cleared my community's system cache just in case. Is there anything else that needs to be done to make the software recognize Redis?

After I run in SQL toolbox (v4.6.11) a simple query like this: SELECT email FROM core_members where allow_admin_mails = 1 AND temp_ban <> -1 AND joined > 1618596660 AND MEMBER_GROUP_ID = 3; I get correct results in the first page, but when I click Next or 2 or 3 for other pages of the results I get a blank page. Is this a known issue? Is there a command that I could add to my SELECT statement that will not force pagination so that I can see all the results on the 1st page?

on our test site we upgraded to 4.6.10 that way we can hash out any issues before going live. vB 3.8 import into existing site. All of the imported users have the newsletter/bulk mail option opted out. When registering, the default is opted in. Any way to bulk change these in the database? I can't figure out where it's stored (what table/column). Thanks.

Hi, So I randomly discovered that after moving to a new server we had forgot to setup the folders we had configured for our disk template caching. I created the folders, set the owner:group to www-data:www-data and even set the chmod for it to 777. I resaved the settings, and it accepted the folder being readable and writable, but after browsing the community I noted that no cache files have been created in the folder. I also tried to deactivate the enable-setting, activate it again, and empty cache, but there is still nothing written to the folder. It doesn't seem to do anything.
