I haven't been around in a while on the support forum. My email notifications suddenly stopped working. I've searched, all the topics I find, don't seem to answer the question of basic settings in the ACP to get gmail to work from the forum to send email notifications. It was working fine until about 2 days ago, and then stopped sending out emails. I'm self-hosted, and the Gmail account is sending and receiving email fine. I have tried numerous combinations of the ports and ssl/tls settings. I get several different errors. This used to be fairly simple to set up. After updating to 4.6.12.1 and updating my PHP to 7.3, I have encountered several issues that are stopping my site from working properly. I am getting many errors in my system log. I have received this one 272 times: And this one 108 times: I am also unable to change themes or add status updates on my website. Trying to change themes just refreshes the page, and trying to add status updates leads to a "Loading..." message. I have cleared cache, removed all third party applications, plugins, and themes and removed ads. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Hello, I am not sure what is going on now in my community. Every time I past an image (CONTROL+V), the uploaded image will be duplicated. I didn't install/update any plugin/app today/yesterday. I've used the website a lot this morning and I didn't get any issues. See attachment. I've cleaned the cache, my browser's cache and the result is the same: duplicated pasted images. This is what I believe is the only modification I've done in the last 24h Thanks a lot

i install SSL, everythign is fine. I contact my provider too and they tell me that the installation is fine but it have some script when you login was insecure and i need to change that , but i dont know how to do. So now i cannot log in inot my website or AdminCP because my browser said it insecure , and when i press to send it anyway , it push me back to the login page. there is 2 waring i have. Any idea how to fix it ? thank you

The layout shifts near the top of the screen in live topics when there is another user online. The space really needs to be reserved on page load to avoid it impacting CLS scores on core web vitals, I think.

I know Members can set their own Activity Stream default configuration, but is there a way I can have this set automatically for them based on selection (i.e. they get a prompt to select their choice) or on a Member Group level (where I can somehow give them an option to choose and place them in a corresponding Member Group). Ultimately this use case comes down to two distinct groups of Members wanting different default views but not wanting to do the work to set it, so I want to force them to select an option. I just noticed that our sever has been hit with 76 GB of images, as people still uploading 19 MB files of 4000 x 3000 px and IPS is not discarding the original images after resizing them. We are on v4.6.10 Please advise how do we discard the original images? Thanks in advance. Posting setting. These are just a few of thousands of images with enormous size (original) Original from DSLR with 300 DPI print resolution.

I shared a link to a page (built using Pages) on Facebook but the og:image does not show up on Facebook. When I use the sharing debugger on Meta I see: Missing Properties The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id Does that mean I need to create a Facebook app so that I can add an og:app_id to the page before the image will show up in Facebook?

How to reproduce on default 4.7 installation without any customization: Create an RSS import feed in ACP, e. g. for IPS News https://invisioncommunity.com/rss/1-invision-community-news.xml Set Record Hidden/Unhidden to Hidden (see attachment) Import the feed into any Pages Database (I have used the default Articles database) The records are hidden in the database. Issue: the records are NOT hidden in the activity stream. The records are seen in the activity stream as not hidden, they do not respect the date set in the RSS feed and are shown as if they were posted now. I would expect they should use the date of the RSS feed item. …

Hello, I had a problem with the page module. I accidentally clicked on the duplicate option instead of the permission and the page category was duplicated. The duplicated category title now shows the name of the original category + copy. The problems are two: 1 When I try to delete that empty category, I will get the error attached 2. Why is the category being duplicated if I didn't save it. Shouldn't the category be saved ONLY if I save it?. This happens on other modules. I am using the latest 4.7 beta version. Thanks

My host, Dreamhost, changed my sql server this morning and moved my database over to the new server. I am able to access the database on the correct server, but the main site is dropping errors. HTTP Error 500 Site is currently using PHP 7.4. I did nothing wrong just edited the Footer from Theme settings than this thing gone again, without any reason to be gone or removed, I dont get this, I happend before I removed everything reinstalled I removed database too, because I only reinstalled invision back it didnt work, I removed database reinstall I thought it fixed, Now when I try just simply edit the Footer on theme area, this thing gone again. It doesnt fix when you change theme or go to sample theme or default theme or any other theme, it just gone. Hello, I changed to a new CDN network as MaxCDN was bought out by StackPath. I changed my file settings, however, my custom emoji are still showing the old cdn path. And now, when posting emoji, the emoji shows up on the editor, but when you submit the post ... it shows the URL to the old CDN and the emoticon is not displaying. I've already cleared system caches several times, and I did a server reboot. I do not have any redis cache installed, and simply running the file system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
