Linux-Is-Best got a reaction from Zdeněk Tůma in REST API error
    Hello @Zdeněk Tůma
I am sincerely sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.  I question if perhaps your CDN (Amazon Cloudfront) is still using the dated (older) cache files and if maybe a simple purge may help resolve this.  Additionally, if you are IP banning anything either through the software or server, you clear both (remove all IP bans) before flushing your CDN.

I am most pleased to hear this joyful news.  I observed that on my localhost install I could not get past the screen asking for my license key. For a brief moment or so, I had assumed I made an unidentifiable and critical error someplace yet not discovered. I shall take comfort in knowing that, in all likelihood, it was merely the incompatibility.
To be a little more clear. I can reach as far as the following URL. admin/install/?controller=license
But after entering my license key and submitting I am greeted with an all-white page that ends with the following URL. admin/install/index.php?controller=applications
My httpd error logs note the following of interest.

You have installed Ipb 4.5.x in the new server and uploaded the database copy of your 3.4x forum at the same database of 4.5.x forum? Did I get it right? If so, you must run the upgrader to bring the database up to date with the new version, 4.5x. But note that like this you will loose all attachments/avatars etc.
You say that you are moving hosts too. The best way to go about this imho, is to first move your 3.4. forum to the new host and do a proper upgrade there afterwards.
Please see these links. They contain a lot of useful info. Hope it helps.

    Hello @giovanny castro
I can see you are upset. No one particularly likes or wishes to experience downtime and general administrative issues. It can be a very frustrating time, especially if you do not know the cause of the problems you are facing or have been provided a possible cause yet have no clue where to begin addressing them. Please be believe when I say 'we have all been there.' After all, everyone starts someplace, somewhere. What can even be more frustrating is when you identify the cause and the solution, and you realize the time it may take to implement a working solution.

I guess my point is, I and I am sure many other people here do sympathize. We have all experienced the rewards of owning and managing our site(s), just as we have experienced how frustrating it can be. But during those more troubling times, it is essential not to lose focus and not direct your frustration toward anyone individual(s). There are people here, both personally and professionally, who wish to help you. Taking out your frustration will not help in that regard.

You said in your reply that the issue is related to SSL. Did you understand what was said and how it was caused? Do you know how to resolve it? If the answer is "no" to either of these questions, perhaps if you share with the community the explained cause, someone can better try to explain things.

The issue was that your SSL configuration on your server is broken, disabling SSL between Cloudflare and your server works around the issue. This is a workaround specifically, if you fix your SSL certificate, you can switch it back to full SSL mode.

Since you are inquiring about someone from within Invision to review your ongoing site issue personally, it may be best to reach them through ticket support. The community forums here are designed for peer to peer support. I am not suggesting that no one at Invision will see your post, only that usually for faster and direct service support, contacting Invision through the client area is often the way to go. https://www.invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/

In the meantime, as a fellow customer who is online, I and others could provide some clues if you noticed any error messages?

Again you aren't even paying attention to the ticket. It clearly is the issue. If you edit the thread I listed in the ticket it causes this exact error. And if you even looked through the applications you would see they are all disabled? I am at 3 days almost 4 days downtime. I can not afford another day. Paying for any useful advice at this point.

Sorry you appear to be upset there. At the time of reading this, I hadn't seen your response to the ticket in question. I have just responded to that ticket requesting access, so if you can pick up on that, we can certainly take a look for you. We can take a look  at this in your ticket as we go through. Note however this is not related to your issue. Take a look at the list, and you will notice there is actually a 3rd party item which is referenced before each of those. Thats what is causing this particular error.

It's live now. I've got more in the hopper and have already made some enhancements/options locally so it won't be too too long before 5 drops. I've got another search thing that hasn't seen the light of day here that I might finish out and add on - if that occurs it'll be another 5 or 10 to the buy and a bump in renews - just fyi for the window shoppers (if it happens, won;t be v5)
    Enjoy.

Linux-Is-Best reacted to Pavel Chernitsky in Delete all "Banned" Users with 0 Posts
Go into the members panel in the ACP, click the cog in the search bar, have it search for members with a 0 content count.
when you get the results, click the "Banned" button above the results table.
From there you can prune the members found, or move them to another group (which if you delete, may(?) delete the users. I haven't tried it so I don't if it deletes all the users or just the group itself).
I'm sure if it'll do the trick, but at least it'll allow you to round all the banned users up and then probably have an easier time doing what you need with them.
