Ok great, thank you Marc! 🙂
And... maybe a silly question but just to make sure: if they click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email: does that count as 1 click or not?
-
In my ACP under Activity > Emails > Email Clicks I can see a curve for Bulk Mail. I just sent a bulk email, with a link to a topic in the forum. Does that number represent the number of times recipients have clicked on the link? Or does that count any click on any link including the Unsubscribe link?
How does that work if I include 2 or more different links in an email, is that value the sum of all clicks to any link?
Thanks!

Is it showing like that on a default theme for you also?
Yes.

There was a 2nd post so the '1' turned into a '2' and again, clicking it just showed me the title of the thread (a page that looks just like a forum topic list, but with only one thread listed, the one where the two 2 queued posts are).
I ended up finding the posts from the Moderator CP > Approval Queue, but I'm not sure why clicking the red number did not lead me to the posts the way it's always worked before.
-
On the main forums page I can see that there is a queued post in one of the forums:
Normally I click the red '1' and that takes me to the thread with that queued post where again I can see a red '1', and I click it and then I can approve that queued post.
This time, when I click the red '1', it shows me a list of only one topic but with no red warning sign and no red '1'. I can't find any queued post in that topic.
PS: Stock invision theme, no plug-ins.

In Polls, as the admin, I can click the number of votes listed to the right of a result to see a list of members who have casted that vote. That's a great feature.
What I would like is to, similarly, click the "# members have voted" at the top to see a list of all members who voted in that poll.

Judging from the video, community experts are tagged in "Discussion" forums. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work the same way with "Question" forums. There's no need to create additional forums.

Same issue here right now. Trying to access my site from Firefox on my iPhone redirects to mysite.com/admin/install which yields a blank page.

I understand that there were issues on 04/25 that are reported on the status tracker, were acknowledged, and have now been resolved (thank you).
I don't understand why my site was down in all locations tested by uptrend on 04/21, and why this downtime was not reported on the status tracker, or why you are not aware of it. I was trying to ask if that 04/21 issue was related to the 04/25 issues, or if this is an isolated issue that should be troubleshot separately? I see a bunch of errors in my log around the time when I detected the downtime:
All those errors end with 'MySQL server has gone away', for example:
SELECT * FROM `cloud_livetopics_topic` WHERE `topic_topic_id`=136254

The very first errors I see in my logs associated to that 04/21 downtime are:

This is simply because it was not down as such in most places. It was slow for the most part, so hasnt tripped it
But at the time, uptrends.com showed my site down in all its testing locations throughout the world, as I shared on that screenshot. (Ugh... the anchoring is linking to the wrong post. The screenshot is a little further down.)

We have 100's of pages of errors in our system log from around 4:45pm yesterday to around 6:33pm (UK time) which seems to coincide with this issue - do other see the same?
I see the same, yes.

There were no issues on April 21st with Cloud as a whole.
What does that mean when my site is down but there's no incident listed at https://status.invisioncommunity.com/ ?

Ok so you made your point that you don't agree, but this is my feature suggestion. 😃 Maybe keep the current way of tallying the percentages and make my suggestion an option that you are free to select or not.
To me it's more useful to know that 100% of voters voted for chocolate, than to know that 66% of the votes casted were for chocolate. I have never seen any poll where each voter can select multiple answers tally percentages like that, but I would love to see an example if you can share one?
In the example I shared in my original post, the poll was something like this:
What you use Invision Community for?
- A forum
- A blog
- An eCommerce platform
- A gallery
- A calendar
... so once the votes are tallied, I want to see something like this:
- A forum [ 78% ]
- A blog [ 42% ]
- An eCommerce platform [ 53% ]
- A gallery [ 21% ]
- A calendar [ 38% ]
So that I can quickly conclude "78% of IC users are using it for a forum".
Here are examples of such polls:
-
Call it what you want, and then maybe I want a survey and not a polll.
In my example where 10 out of 10 voters vote "Chocolate" and 5 out of 10 voters vote "Vanilla", what's the point in getting a result that 66.6% of votes are "Chocolate"? I have no interest in that number. If you do, great, only I'm making here a feature suggestion that I think I should have at least the option of counting the percentage of voters, not votes.
Out of curiosity, can you give me a concrete example of when you would be interested in getting that 66.6% value? What does it represent?

It sounds like if one person votes for option 1 and 2 that it would show 100% on both when really it’s a fifty percent for both options as they chose both equally.
Yes, exactly. It's a fifty percent for both options if you count the votes, but it's 100% on both if you count the voters. I want to count the voters.
Which ice cream flavors do you like? Chocolate or Vanilla?
If 10 persons answer and:
- 5 of them answer only Chocolate,
- 5 of them answer both Chocolate and Vanilla,
Then I want the poll results to reflect that:
- 100% of voters picked Chocolate,
- 50% of voters picked Vanilla.
-
Got it, thanks Jim. I've posted in the Feedback forum, there:
-
When creating a multiple answer poll, the poll tallies the percentage of votes. I wish it would tally the percentage of voters instead.
For example in the results below, 53 voters out of 69 have voted for the 2nd answer, I would like to see 76.81% (of voters), and not 22.94% (of votes):

I added my suggestion in the feedback forum:

One suggestion if this is really bothering you is to change the language string for "Last Visited" to something like "Last Signed In".
That wouldn't be accurate, since the last visited time is updated when the user session times out. And I'm not interested in knowing when a user last signed in anyway.
I wish "Last Visited" on the profile page would display "Online Now" while the user is online, just like in the hover card.
What are Bulk Mail Email Clicks exactly?
