  1. Only categories can have permissions. Restricting topics would require a customization.
  2. Google has some pretty specific items which you need to do to pass their email send requirements. (I'm sure a client of theirs can provide those or help you do it). Apart from that, there are countless SMTP email services out there if you do not want to use Gmail or SendGrid. It is worth mentioning that if you switch to our Cloud, you could use our Cloud email service and not have to worry about this 🙂 .

  5. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this with the link you posted. Would recommend disabling any third party applications/plugins and switching to an unmodified theme in case there is some change by those items.
  6. Gift cards get applied to an account as account credit so they can be applied to anything. Any item which gets put in a cart would get an invoice created. That is currently how the software works.

  8. I would advise working with an SEO consultant if you have any concerns here. Generally speaking, hidden items are generally excluded or frowned upon by Search Engines (as people often did this to rank for things their website wasn't about) but an expert will be able to advise you more in depth on how this would impact you.
  9. Would advise working with your theme's author if there are any issues as this seems to come up each time an upgrade is processed. If this is something on their end they need to resolve, you will want to work with them rather than restoring.

I see you are allowing guests to post freely once 1 content item is made but for guests, this is likely a bug in showing and just allowing the guest group to post freely as we do not track guests in this manner. I would advise setting "Remove content moderation" to "Never" while we review this.
  17. That is a third-party plugin called "Subscription Privacy". The \IPS\nexus\Gateway\PayPal" is there to state where the plugin hooks into in the core software. Glad to hear you resolved the issue by removing the plugin!

  20. The user there is being denied by our Spam Defense system. If this is yourself testing registration or you trust the individual registering, you will want to add the details in the Spam Defense Whitelist in ACP -> Members -> Spam Prevention.
